These things are cool!
These things are awesome as a speak piece or doing fun stuff around the yard or even in training 🙂. Okay so first and foremost let me say that the description they give for this is way way overdone lol. A bunch of what they claim there is clearly exaggerated and silly. That said, these things are really really cool. I'm sure the big question everyone's asking is could you actually use these for self-defense, short answer yes. For them to be useful in the way they're designed to be you would have to have 30 seconds to a minute to strap into the things (or strap them to your forearms rather). So a more nuanced answer would probably come away with, not likely. But only because of the need to strap into them for them to be fully functional. All that being said this is something clearly made for novelty and cosplay. It's cheap stamp out "swords", so no these things are definitely not battle ready!! But they're strong enough to cut down saplings to use for thinning out too much undergrowth in the woods around your house, whack a trail somewhere, whack down tall grass, or if you have a gel Target or softer upper torso Target you can use it for training. To be completely honest the training is probably the most fun! But they're fun for what they are; Some cheap stamp out "swords/machetes" that strap to your forearm and become an extension of your arms with some pretty wild control you don't experience with other weapons.

Assembly difficult/dangerous
Blades are cool, concept is fun, assembly is extremely difficult due to poor Chinese machining. Using force to get grips into shaft is pretty dangerous with a sharp blade. Velcro straps to hold to arms is laughable. Junk.

Tactical hunting Knife set
Its Nice will be helpful when I go camping. The screws are a bit hard to put in and tighten but it's useful and the whole thing is Very strong and sturdy.

Some assembly required... if you can.
So, I wasn't expecting that there would be any assembly required, but I was game to do it. No instructions, but with a little effort, you can figure out how it goes together... However, the included hex key is tiny and difficult to handle, and the screws and fittings are of abysmal quality. The screws began stripping their hex drives (the slot where the tool connects) immediately, and were extremely shallow. Assembly itself was kind of a nightmare, as I had to do a lot of pushing and forcing to get things to line up properly, and tightening the screws without extra tools is nearly impossible, and made even more difficult due to low quality hardware. I never did get all of the screws tightened properly.Once I finally got one of the pair assembled, I found that the forearm strap was far too small to fit me (I'm an average sized guy with a moderate amount of muscle on my arms), so I'm a little stuck, there... guess I could come up with my own straps... but that's not really the point. I don't know why every single product like this on Amazon is made for guys with toothpick arms...The blades themselves seem fine. Full tang, etc. Fairly sharp. The nylon sheath works well enough, I suppose... though I'm not sure what the intention of it is, as the whole rig would ride way too high on a belt to be in any way practical (like, up to my armpit, and very much in the way).I was going to give 1 star, but given the low cost, and generally okay construction on the blade(s), I'm going with 2.Honestly, though, not really one I'd recommend...
