I was drawn to this product by other reviews and the quality of the video showing how to do the repair. The video takes time to emphasise the challenging parts such as not rushing when pushing connectors on. This is important for folk with little experience. The razor blade to help open the case is a really useful addition - it was as easy as it looks in the video - do pay attention to where the cables are though! The one part not explained in the video is how to remove the home button safely from your old screen - something we’ll all want to do if we can, to keep the Touch ID going - the cable is very thin and glued down in places, so care is required. You can find a good walk-though of this procedure on ifixit.com. I tested the screen with all connections in place before gluing it down, and all was fine. I then detached cables as shown, prepared the glue strips, reconnected cables and sealed all up. Then it didn’t work correctly! I suspected I must have not quite got the connectors on right - sent an email to the vendors to confirm this was the right thing to try. They got back to me in around 3 hours to confirm that. So - reopened, reconnected, hard reset, as advised - tested and then resealed and all was good this time. The quick response was reassuring.

Does what it needs to do.for a screen and digitizer replacement, its bang on.Comes with extra adhesive just on the off chance that the pre-installed stuff isn't there (I've had 4 of these so far, because kids find it hilarious when they smash the screen)Comes with all the tools you need to get the job done, the only thing that isn't included is heat which is 100% needed( i use a hair dryer to loosen the original adhesive)Its easy to install, just takes a little bit of time, don't kink the ribbons, unless you want ghost fingers, or unworking home button.usually takes me about 40 minutes to replace.Sellers top-notch with replies if you need further support for the product.If you are replacing for the first time, time and patience are key.make sure the edges are heated on the old screen, i always start with the top right corner, as there's no ribbons in the way.

The quality is not the best but is pretty good and easy to understand.

It’s a bit tricky to fit using hairdryer helps a lot, the cables get in the way a little when sticking screen down seem slightly too long and a bit sticks up by the home button which wasn’t on the other one making the screen sit raised hardly noticeable tbf when it’s in a case. Adhesive is separate and a bit of a pain to get right. Hence 3 starts but works well.

Ordered this digitiser glass to replace a cracked one on my grand-daughter's iPad7. Order came quickly and attempted repair. The first screen had brittle cables which cracked when folded over but an email to GoodFixer (who sold the screen) solved that with a 'no questions asked' refund given within a few hours, and then I ordered the same digitiser again which arrived today. The cables on that 2nd digitiser seemed a lot better and all fitted without any problems. Note that the digitiser comes with a pre-fitted home button: This replacement home button is not touch-ID compatible... it's just a button. If you want touch ID then you need to carefully lift your old button from your old digitiser and similarly remove the pre-fitted home button, and replace it with the touch ID button, on your new digitiser glass. There's plenty of youtube videos you can watch to show you how to do that and complete the replacement, but overall I found it fairly easy and the iPad is working fine again now. The digitiser is supplied with all the tools you need and double sided mounting tape... basically everything you need is in the kit you are sent.

If you replace for your kids dont bother really rubbish quality. First it was laggy as a whole touch screen then literally broke within 2 days of fixing it. Little one didn't even drop it or anything, just cracked from her putting her arm wait on it to get up of the floor and ipad screen cracked into a big hole near camera.Could be different results for others i guess but just sharing my experience with this product.

Take your time and follow the video instructions and you will replace your iPad screen no bother. Took me around 30 mins all in I would say. Worst part is scraping out the old adhesive. I would recommend using some isopropyl alcohol for this task.

Delivery was fast and efficient, product was good quality. Have to compliment the seller on their warranty. I damaged the cable installing the screen and the seller replaced the screen FOC even though it was completely my fault.
