Charges my iPad from my computer!
Some of these devices are not powerful enough to draw power from a laptop to transfer that power to a USB-connected iPad (or iPod!) and this one is! It's a great price and while I haven't traveled with it yet, I imagine it would be easy because of it's slim design.Update Sept 2023: It's still working great!

Solid Purchase
This adapter is really well built and has lots of capability as a true multiport device. We purchased it for use primarily with Macs so they can connect via HDMI to a wall port that feeds two TVs. The extra capabilities are a major bonus. Can't beat the price and quality as a great combination. Highly recommended.

this product is top notch, easy to use plug and play. Works perfectly right out of the box. It is a great product if you want to add extra connection ports to you computer. It includes usb 3.0 ports, memory cards reader, LAN connection, HDMI, USB - C , Audio connector..etc.Strongly Recommended.

Overheats, but works well
I’ve used this product for over a year. It’s worked really well and processed information fast (which is a necessity as a wedding photographer). However, I’ve recently noticed that the device gets EXTREMELY hot while transferring data, to the point of not being able to touch it. Love the product, but can’t trust it since I fear the heat will format my SD cards.

Excellent device, nice build quality - recommended
I've bought this usb c hub for a new MacBook Pro (2019 model). The surface finish on these is excellent and the build quality is great. The USBC connector fits snug (unlike another brand I tried and had to return). Plug and play, no issues - highly recommended!

Just what I needed for a great price
I bought this just for the SD card adapter, but I've used it for USB as well. I'm going to buy one for each of my kids. Great product.

So far so good!
I was surprised with the usb c adapter, it is made of metal and firm, so feels sturdy and not plastic.I can use the usb c adapter to run an HDMI 1080 external TV from my macbook pro. Very small and compact !

No reconoce todos los dispositivos
Funcionó bien para leer una tarde SD y memorias USB. Pero no me reconoce mouse y teclado.
