Our bathroom was renovated just prior to us moving into our place a few years ago, and all of the fixtures were top quality, at least based on brand name. However, our expensive rain shower head just started deteriorating quickly, accumulating large calcium and lime deposits (thank you Chicago water), rusting at the seams, and just not draining properly, promoting mildew and mold. This did not make for an attractive shower, or one that I looked forward to taking.I really did not want to shell out a large sum for another shower head that might suffer the same fate. Searching on Amazon presented a lot of different options, all looking very similar, but at varying price points. After reading the reviews, I decided on this one, and I'm sure glad I got it.Installation was very simple: unbox it (it came very professionally and securely packaged), unscrew the protective cap, put thread tape on the existing overhead pipe, and screw it on tightly with a wrench. The toughest part was making sure it was level (requiring all of five seconds). The instruction sheet is nothing remarkable, consisting of four pictures and omitting any details on how to replace the small rubber nozzles, or install the red water restrictor (more on that in a moment).What I like is that the both the shower head and the attachment arm are metal. A lot of alternative shower heads have plastic arms, which is best to avoid in my personal experience. The shower head is very thin, making for a nice low profile, especially with the nice brushed nickel finish.The sound coming out of the shower head is also noticeably different than our previous one. Instead of a light hiss, it's a very pleasant gentle low rumble. This is likely due to the shape and function of the shower head, but also the volume of water. And to that point I even think it may even be too much water - trust me, I love being drenched, but our shower drain simply cannot empty as quickly as it accumulates (and we do not have very high pressure). I'm considering installing the water restrictor just to see if it still makes for an enjoyable shower but using much less water.All in all, I am really happy with this purchase. Even if it degrades in a few years, for the price I could just replace it again.

Great shower head with plenty of force. Replaced a larger head with less force which felt lacking. Very easy to install about 5 minutes to screw it on and tighten with a crescent wrench. Came with plumber’s tape and flow restrictor tho didn’t use the latter. Very good price also. We’ll see if it holds up.

This is a great Showerhead for the price. It's a great size if you have a small shower but still want a rain style Showerhead.

So, is this a great buy, well yes, YES IT IS.There's nothing better than a rain shower head, period End of discussion.This shower head changed my shower experience for the better.Your body is no longer in discomfort because the shower head doesn't fully cover you but the rain shower does.After 3 month trial I finally made my review and in my pictures and videos you will see my DIY conversion kit that I made myself and took the idea from an Amazon review but I made it better. My first beta trial was sticking two square doll rods and duct taping them spacing them apart parallel and then having two shower curtain rods act as a track for it to sit on. And honestly the very first beta test with duct taping them worked you just got to keep an eye on it. But the full completion that I did was to JB weld them to the actual shower head and it turned out exactly how I wanted it to be.I also went more crazy with another shower head from Sam's club that was a steal that adds a water fall function which is so badass while being in a rain shower.Some really cool things about the rain shower is, that it doesn't need a lot of water flow per se as long as there is water flowing to it it'll make raindrops. So what I mean by that is you can have other shower heads on diversion switches and you'll still get water flow on the rain shower head. But now I actually have three shower heads connected with 2 "T" pipes.So far I'm blissed out and really don't think I'll care if something happens to the shower head I'll just buy another one.PS This is my longest Amazon review ever lol

Great pressure from this shower head. Nice rainfall effect and easy lo set up. Affordable. Would definitely recommend.
