Excellent sleep aid!
UPDATE AFTER A MONTH:Well, I still can't live without this stuff!! Came back to order another bottle because the family has now caught onto it's "sleepy" effect for bedtime:) It has NO effect on my guts (and I have been dealing with gut issues for a year now so I know what I am talking about when I say it has zero laxative effect!ORIGINAL POST:I have Lyme disease and it has left me with restless legs at night. I can't hold them still. I twitch and cramp and the only way to relieve it was to stand on my legs. (Not an ideal sleeping position...) and then I was reading up on healing my guts (it's been a long year people) and I came across Magnesium and started to look into adding it to my routine (which is rather strict so I know what does/doesn't piss off the IBS type pains that accompany the Lyme bullcrap) and I tell you what. The first night I took 1 pill, unsure what would come. And slept pretty good. About an hour after taking it I felt my legs relax enough to sleep. The next night? 2 pills. SLEPT LIKE A BEAR IN WINTER for 10 straight hours! I have taken 2 a night for weeks and slept great until 2 nights ago I forgot and fell asleep...and woke up 1.5 hours later with restless legs! I rolled over and took just 1 Mag pill and in a few hours was back asleep. I will never make that mistake again!I also have MVP (mitral valve prolapse) that my cardiologist put me on beta-blockers for (years ago), but in researching the side effects of those compounded now with Lyme treatments, I stopped taking them. So the random flutters, thudding in my chest, pain after exercising all came back within a day. The beta blockers were nice...but the magnesium has now all but replaced them! I have a few funny beats when I lay down at night, but I haven't had one episode of randomness during the days and I wake up feeling much more energetic.I'm not a doctor, I'm not paid to take these, I just wanted others to know I found relief from some pretty stressful things all from adding these to my regimen. I switched to Keto type lifestyle and the IBS has not flared up in over a month. I was on 4 Bentyl pills a day and now? None. Diet can help a LOT in healing the guts. And any other Lyme sufferers out there, just know, I am praying for you! You can do it!(Oh and adding collagen to the same protein shake in the am has helped the stiff joints...if you have Lyme you know what I mean... I got it off Amazon too- let's face it we aren't going shopping in a store just to browse. It was- hold on- have to get off the couch to go see...you are worth the effort..."Collagen Peptides Hydrolyzed Type 1 and 3 unflavored from Sports Research" It mixes up tasteless and I started with half a scoop a day and that was doing something so I increased to a scoop a day and now no more achy hands, hips, knees, ankles, shoulders...you know the list. But they don't ache anymore:) Bless you all!(For reference I was diagnosed with Lyme about 7 months after being bitten (which is now 15 months ago) I had reactivated EBV (think mono) that would NOT go away for months and months and months (the antigens just kept climbing) and no one could figure out why, and then my cardiologist (bless his heart) said most Lyme panels return negative. So he started me on Lyme treatments and guess what happened after only 4 days? Yes. I was herxing and mad as *$^# the other doctors hadn't figured it out. I'm still in treatment, but I feel SO much better. The mono is almost gone (I get wicked tired but that can also be the Lyme) and I have many, many great days in a row of being productive and pain-free!

Most Amazing Results
This stuff saved my life. From 2008 to 2009 I suffered from mysterious and debilitating muscle spasms in my back and abdomen. These spasms began to appear after months of overwork; 14 hour work days, 7 days a week, month after month ( I am self-employed). At first the spasms were mild but then steadily grew in intensity, appearing not during the day but at night, beginning near sundown and subsiding at around 4 a.m. The muscle spasms were a ferocious, unrelenting misery that went on night after night, for fourteen months. Eventually anxiety accompanied these episodes as I began to fear the coming nightfall. My unhappy times culminated with a perforated ulcer and an emergency helivac, followed by emergency surgery. For some reason the spasms stopped shortly after being hooked up to an iv and feeding tube for ten days. I described the night spasms to my doctors but they had nothing to add except that I should see a shrink. Instead, I sold my house and retired.Fast forward to August 2018.Retirement was getting old and so I started a new business. After twelve months worth of 14 hour work days, 7 days a week I was back to sleeping with the devil. The spasms had returned and I thought for sure that I would never survive another year of this. I searched the web for answers. My first clue came when I stumbled upon an NCBI research paper connecting circadian rhythms and the intracellular exchange of magnesium ions. Another site associated muscle spasms with magnesium depletion caused by stress and overwork. Encouraged by the search results, I ordered four types of magnesium supplements to try. The first was Triple Calm Magnesium (Natural Rhythm) which had a mild effect that lasted only an hour. Next was Upgraded nano-magnesium liquid. It did seem to absorb faster (as advertised) and was a little longer lasting than Triple Calm, but not by much. With the nightly spasms getting worse I moved on to Nested Magnesium Glycinate Chelate. My thoughts on ordering this was that chelation would help with absorption. Forty-five minutes after taking the first pill my spasms began to fade, and the relief lasted for hours! I took a second pill at 10 p.m, went to sleep spasm-free and slept through the night. The next day I felt great, and as I did the day before, took a pill at 4 p.m., followed by a second at 10 p.m. and went to sleep. And so it has been for many days now. I have increased the daily intake to 600mg (four pills) and fully expect that it will take time, perhaps months, to re-build my magnesium levels back to normal. I'm sold on Nested and I'm sticking with it (never did try the fourth variety). Perhaps this review will help others with the same "Jeckyll and Hyde" condition that nearly took my life..

GREAT for Sleep & Muscle Recovery
I've been taking 2 capsules after dinner/before bed, per my functional medicine doctor's recommendation for months now. I've gone through so many bottles of this (and stocked up when I saw they were offering 3-packs). I've also gifted to family and recommended to friends. Magnesium Glycinate is essential for relaxation, restful sleep, and muscle recovery – all things I prioritize as someone who is focused on high-quality sleep for my current and long-term health, as well as movement. HIGHLY recommend!
