I had purchased this item because mine broke and needed a replacement head piece. Unfortunately, it came dull, so it does not cut well and pulls on the hair which obvious does not feel great.

This is a nice alternative to buying a whole new unit. Be aware that this replacement may seem to be on, but it will need to snap in place. I thought it was installed properly, but couldn't figure out why it wasn't cutting!

Not sure what's up with the negative reviews. I was al little apprehensive to buy this because of them, but I'm glad I did. Super simple install if you can even call it that, you literally snap the old one off snap the new one on. It works perfectly. Zero issues.

So yes, the replacement head has NO clipping power. I took the bottom (moving) part of the clipper from my old head and swapped it! BINGO! Cuts like new!I think I'll run the new lower over my diamond grit whetstone. Just once.I might also cut slots to run a zip strip through the upper and tie the spring down. That's what broke in the first place, the hook.Good luck, folks!

So the original shaver, out of the box worked great, then I needed a replacement blade and this barely cuts. In fact, I cut or scratch myself rubbing over hairs to get it to cut.. I then handed it to a friend who is more mechanically inclined. What am I doing wrong? Nope, it’s right. The product just doesn’t cut! Why would they ruin a great product and prove such crappy blade replacements? I’m not sure what to do, I’m about to design my own product.

I needed the entire head, not just the blade. Easy return and was able to order the correct piece.
