Sleek, Styling, and Writes Like a Dream!
I wasn't sure what to expect, but I really like it!It has the traditional profile where it's thicker in the middle than the ends. It has some weight too it, and does not feel cheap, or loose or anything indicating poor construction. The nib is a fine point and has engraving/styling on it (which I always like). It came with two cartridges as well as the ink converter. I had no issues putting the cartridge in, and after a few minutes the ink was flowing enough to write. Writing is very smooth with no ink flow issues. The cap does not screw on, it clicks on tightly, securely, and with a satisfying audible CLICK. It seems as though there is resistance when you push it together, but I believe there is something in the cap that is helping to seal the nib to prevent drying out. After 16 hours of not being used, I opened it up and was writing again with no dry out or inkflow issues.

Great Value!
I have a small collection of fountain pens ranging from $500 to $20 (PS the $20 pen is fantastic) that I alternate each day to do my crosswords. They are arranged by my favorites. The ZenZoi pen has moved up the standings to #2 out of 15! It worked immediately after a quick shake (cartridge) and the medium point has a nice feel and a very smooth line. Very comfortable to write with. It's also one of the few pens that comes with a converter. I was tempted to get the fine point, but, considering the feel of the medium point on the paper is so smooth and far from bold, I was afraid the fine point would be a bit scratchy. That is a personal choice. My advice if you're looking for a fountain pen...BUY IT!

Wow
Nice feel. Snug cap and post feel. Ink flows right away (I’m using the ink converter.) Good length. Good weight. I would purchase again. Looks really nice, too. I think it will hold up well. The snug cap feels like it will keep the ink fresh longer. EDIT: after a couple of days the cap is now loose. And it’s a bit scratchy on the paper when writing. But it’s still a nice pen and good value overall.

Good pen with a initial problem overcome
MY ORIGINAL REVIEW WITH MY ADDENDUM. THE SELLER RESPONDED IN A MOST PROFESSIONAL MANNER.I have an extremely large collection of fountain pens, among them two that are Zenzoi. This particular orange pen would rank close to the very bottom in value and quality in the condition it was originally received. The nib is scratchy and requires considerable tuning, but it isn’t worth it because the cap is extremely loose and the pen dries out. The defective cap is the primary problem. This review comes from someone who has collected and used quality fountain pens since the early 1970s.Addendum: I worked with the seller and they sent me a new cap. They were most cooperative. I have a black version of the pen and that cap fits perfectly on the orange pen. With the replacement of the cap, tuning the nib becomes a fairly easy and worthwhile endeavor. It now writes quite well and it has become an enjoyable pen to use. It probably would have been easier at the outset to have returned the pen. I don’t mind working on pens, but defective caps are one thing I can’t address.Addendum:I contacted the seller. They were most responsive. I asked for another cap. They actually immediately sent me an entire new pen. The cap fits perfectly and it writes beautifully. It was a totally different experience and I am most appreciative. Thank you.

Quality for the Price
Was looking for a quality fountain pen with at a good price. This pen looks and writes like a much more expensive pen. It has a comfortable feel, good balance, and it writes without skips. The ink line is clean and sharp. A little fine I thought at first but is clean and crisp. I use everyday buying another to have a Blue and Black ink pen. Put cartridge in and it was writing in seconds. Top quality for the money. HAPPY I chose this fountain pen.

A good choice for an every day serviceable been.
The price was right for a fountain pen that I wanted to keep in my handbag. I wouldn’t go crazy if I left it behind somewhere or lost it. (I keep my Mont Blanc in the house.)

Damn fine, fine writing instrument
It compares to my $115 Waterman fountain pen. When I opened the box I couldn't find the ink converter. But, I tried a new skill I've been practicing. I took a deep breath, unscrewed the bottom from the top and voila, there was the ink converter. One thing I noticed about the ink converter is that when I take I go to refill it, the nib has a tendency to fall off. But, again, I'm using some new coping skills and I know to hold bot the nib and the piece the nib connects too, and voila, they stay together. It writes well, even compared to my Waterman that I paid double for.Don't Stop Believing.

Fine pen and great value
This pen has a really smooth fine nib, and I am am glad I purchased it. The cap snaps on very securely, and, so far the pen has written immediately every time I have used it. This pen is on the heavier side, which I really like. I haven't had any trouble with it whatsoever, and am very glad I bought it.
