I purchased this Lee Load All to learn how to reload shotgun shells. The machine works great and with a little bit of rhythm, you can start cranking out some nicely crimped 12GA rounds. Set up is pretty easy. Did not take long to mount to my bench. Not a lot of torque when using the device, so it does not have to be on a super strong platform. Here are a few thing to note when getting going.1. Depending on your powder, make sure to get a digital scale. The bushings, the data from the load books, do not always match. Mine have been consistently way under grain weight. For the time being, I am weighing every 5 rounds for consistency. I bought this scale: Frankford Arsenal Reloading Scale. Inexpensive and accurate!!2. Make sure your hulls, wads,primers, and powder match. (the data book has good information to match things up) (learned the hard way)3. Make sure the crimps (folds) are facing you when you do the pre-crimp and the final crimp. They will work perfect.4. Spend some time watching You Tube videos. Great information out there!!5 Be safe, and enjoy!I had to contact Lee\s customer service to figure out what I was doing wrong at first. Very quick reply from them and they helped me figure out the issue. Great service.I highly recommend this device! Is also very cheap to swap over to 20GA and others.Happy Reloading

You know what? I wanted to love it. Badly. I live a few miles away from where they make the stuff, I have a classic turret press where I have made thousands of 9mm rounds and it's great. However, this is not the classic turret press is it? I wish I could give it like.. 3.7 stars. For the price, I picked it up for 40 bucks which is a good value for what you get, and the primer feed separately. The primer feed I will say is garbage, and is the first bad experience I have had with lee. The press itself, is clever. It takes a bit to get used to, but my main complaint is the bushings always throw light charges. so much that it felt like I was shooting primers and wads out of my shotgun. I had to go up almost 3 sizes!!!! So, measure it out so it matches your load BEFORE filling up 45 pounds of powder in the hopper, because the only way to change the bushing is to tip it over (with the top still tightly on with duct tape, and your hand). It take a while to load 50, maybe a hour.The handle design is odd, where it occasionally pops out of the guide.Pros: Cheap for just getting into shotshell reloadingDoes the job, albeit slowlyPretty simple operationCons:light charges for bushingsHandle pops out of guide occasionallypowder and shot need to be removed to change bushings, or tip over (securely)Primer feed is horse manureConclusion: For the money, getting started, yes. Buy it, does the job. it has quirks though, but not so bad when you get used to it. For those who shoot a medium amount, get a progressive press and skip the intro model.
