Awesome backpack! Very comfortable and breathable straps (my back did not get sweaty after hiking all day). I use it mainly for day hikes to carry water bottle and lunch.

Great quality. Well worth the money.

The only thing I don't like about this pack is that the water bladder compartment is not insulated. I'm not exactly sure why someone WOULDN'T want insulation, unless they were going out for days and wanted to save a few ounces on weight. This is a day pack, though, so I would think insulation would benefit just about anyone. However, the water bladder compartment is big enough to hold a 3L bladder inside an insulation sleeve, which makes up for it. The hook to hold up the bladder is for the company's proprietary bladder rather than a generic hook. So I would either get one of their bladders (I didn't because of mixed reviews) or one that has a bit of internal structure to it (which is fairly easy to find).The compartment for the water bladder is completely separate from the rest of the pack, which I see as a real benefit. Many packs have a pocket for the bladder rather than a completely separate compartment.The water hose comes out the center of the pack, so theoretically you could use it on either side, but there is only a clip to actually hold the hose on one side.The pack is adjustable for different torso lengths, which is something I haven't seen before and is a definite bonus. I'm average height for a man (5'10"), but I still lengthened it a bit so the pack sat more on my hips.The waist belt is comfortable, as are the straps. I did not get overly sweaty using the pack.The construction is very sturdy. It is definitely a well made pack, down to the zippers, which another pack I've had skimped on.Definitely recommended.

This pack is great. I have several 24L packs and this one is probably the most comfortable, just make sure you adjust the sizing properly (refer to the Gregory website to see how to properly adjust the pack to fit your body). When properly fitted, I can barely feel the weight of the pack, even with a decent load. The outside mesh pocket is very large, and the side pockets can easily fit a 32 oz. Nalgene bottle. I also use the dedicated water bladder compartment, but it does not come with a water bladder. I love the smoke grey/black color with the bright orange interior, it makes looking for things inside a breeze. The pack looks very sleek. My only complaint is that I wish the interior zipper pocket was a bit larger, although it still fits my wallet, keys, and money clip. But that's just a minor gripe and I highly recommend this pack.

Gregory packs are exceptional quality, and will last a very long time. This pack is awesome, but I wanted to upgrade size so I could shed 2 layers, carry dry socks and creek-crossing sandles... and carry two meals with me occasionally. The 32L is exactly the same except for the extra size.

I really like this pack and it came down to if I wanted this or the smaller 18 ltr Gregory. I ended up getting the 18ltr but either would have been a great pack.

The picture for the black pack is not correct. Unless they have different years still in inventory. The picture I posted is the one that was delivered to me. It has an orange mesh back and orange on the straps. Also this pack has a separate bladder zip compartment. I am pleased with what I have. Very nice pack with ample room and every attachment I need. Buy a gregory bladder also, others wont hang they way its intended, Gregory's plan. I'm 6 foot, 250 pounds with a long torso. I have it adjusted out to its max and it sits perfectly. Thanks
