My 1 star is not for the battery or seller, they would've probably had 5 stars. No issue with the battery as it did power up my tablet. I was refunded for the battery right away. The 1 star is for the video instructions. The issue is the included video instructions shows opening the tablet from the display side. This was wrong for my tablet and doing so destroyed it. The tool tore through the very short flex cable connecting the display to the main board. The display and main board were connected together with two flex cables. Unlike the video showed when opened. My tablet is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 SM-T310 and needed to be opened from bottom side apparently. My tablet is now worthless as the toch screen is not connected and not repairable. Maybe some of the tablets need to be opened like the video. Mine was opposite. Picture 1 is after opening it per the video (display side). Picture 2 shows the destroyed cable (display side). Picture 3 show destroyed cable on main board side. Picture 4 shows how it looked after opening from bottom side which matches how video showed the battery. Be careful. Not happy. Now that I'm out a tablet, I feel someone owes me a replacement or an assist with replacing the tablet.

I broke the tool that came with the kit. Finally used a credit card instead. Then I damaged the credit card. I don't have the patience.

It said I could use this to replace the batter in my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I used the model number to make sure I was getting something that would work with mine. I watched the video and then attempted to open up my tablet: it wasn't happening. The buttons on the side started popping out and I got nervous I was going to break something, Plus I could not get the tool to fit in under the screen the way it seemed to in the video. All in all, I figure I got burned. And the documentation says you have to take it to a Samsung repair shop but the closest one to me in some place in New Jersey. Why can you easily replace a battery in a laptop but it's impossible in a tablet? Who designs something like that? It's like guaranteeing you're going to have a buy a whole new one when the battery stops holding it's charge. Maybe once the battery is totally shot I'll give it another try cause then I'll have nothing to lose.

This really revived a dead and abandoned tablet.

The battery arrived nicely and packaged well. The install tool was a little too brittle and one end broke during install. Luckily both ends are the same and the other end took me to the finish. I installed the battery and turned it on to ensure that it was working. All went well. I charged it for 2 hours straight, I checked it and it was only charged to 59%. Odd I thought, but ok. I charged the remainder of the night (8 more hours), looked again and 59% still. OK I thought, maybe it needs a drain. I took it off charger and ran it for a few hours, drained down to 20%. Charged overnight again, and the charge only goes up to 59%. I would skip this brand and choose another had I had the option to repeat.
