Teacher’s honest review
I bought this to use with some 4th grade students who really struggled with print handwriting. I wanted a handwriting book that wouldn’t make them feel like a “little kid.” This book has fun jokes that bring some light humor to a very mundane task. :)

Love the jokes
My son loves this book, he does a page a day to get his letters and handwriting good or better. I love the book bc it brings me and my son closer

Engaging Little Book
My 5 year old loved this book. He looked forward to reading the jokes each day. Made for easy busy work as he already learned to write in preschool, but needed more practice. When he finished, he was a little bummed and read every joke all over again. Excellent for learning new letters, reinforcing concepts, and some fun puns thrown in to entertain them.

The Standard Type of Activity Book
This is your standard how to write book that has a lot of pages and activities to do. I purchased this for my eight year-old grandson who does not have very good penmanship. I am a retired teacher, so I am particular with my books that I buy. I guess you cannot make this task more interesting I was hoping for a little bit more, but I am happy with my purchase overall .

Useful aid to help improve 2nd grader penmanship
Granddaughter’s printing left much room for improvement. It was fun for her to read jokes to us. We paid her $1 for every day she wrote 1 page and it had to be perfect. Teacher commented on her improved penmanship! I also printed out upper and lower case alphabet then taped above desk for her to reference. I am very proud of her improved penmanship.

Makes writing practice fun.
My first grade grandson is struggling with printing, but loves reading and especially loves jokes. We have just started using this workbook, but he loves the jokes at the top of each page. The subject of the joke starts with the letter he is practicing. Later in the book he will be guided into writing the punch lines. He is very happy with the process so far.

great handwriting book
we've tried various hand writing books with our daughter (1st grade), this is the first one she's liked. the jokes really break down any resistance to do the work. i also like how the book initially starts with basic penmanship, for letters/numbers, and then works into spelling and handwriting. highly recommend.

Best Handwriting Book I've Found Yet
This book has high-quality paper and nice, full-color pictures. But the best part is the jokes. When my daughter is grumpy about doing handwriting, I can usually get her to cheer up when I read her the joke on the page. This one is definitely a winner!
