It may not Grip, but it sure is needed for its padding, sponging, lift, accuracy, quality, and padding.
I Bought Many Packs of this one and many packs of the Waxman 4719395N Self-Stick Round Felt Pads, Oatmeal, 1-1/2-Inch and now I'm ready to go. Grippy or Grippy Slippy, Everyone needs to get these and the felt one. They come in so handy for so many things, especially if you're creative and imaginative. The bottom of chairs need it, tables need it, garbage bins need it, bin bins need it, For me I've never Met a Non-Gripping Gripper I didn't appreciate, and if it doesn't grip I make sure I know which one does and continue to buy that one for just gripping. Many things need to be half an inch or an inch raised, including things that are better raised because when you go to lift them, it's difficult because their completely flat sitting on top of your slippery table surface or something like that.I've put these things under big Décor Items, like Lamps and vases, utensil holders, glass on table tops and so much more, there's no reason to not appreciate these things just because they don't grip. If a thing is heavy and you put these under them, it will stay gripped, if they're lite things you're putting under, they will less grip, so they're more padding or stability sponges or something. There is no wasting money for these things because we all go to the stores to buy them for years, but because they're called something else makes others unhappy. Or perhaps they just hate to many things in their own life or had a bad day, or don't communicate feelings very wisely, especially if they spend allot of time going to the store so much as the know the stores rip them off worse than ever.So since we always get them, and since it's a fabulous product that's helpful in so many ways as people walk around with not a fabulous life, and since I don't want to look for stuff outside in the malls with crazy negative narrow minded people, I shop from this company for these things and that's that.I appreciate all the things that people make that help me and millions of others, who can appreciate some things like how people often name products wrong, but the product is the fantastic product that we all use.Fine they don't grip, big deal, "GET A GRIP", either do those negative comments. You're not complaining it doesn't do its job, you're complaining you can't do yours because it does more than one job.Gripping? It's called something so you can't use it for anything else? Narrow mindedness and I won't get along, and I won't have it against something that I believe in to be absolutely factual and true.Get some Logical Thinking for Logical Words if you can't have it the other way around. Okay, let's see what other product I can review around here. Muaww.

They work!
I use these to attach to a riser I 3-D printed to bring my mouse arm in-line with my keyboard arm when gaming. These prevent the riser from moving around and scratching my desk when I am using y mouse.

Works less well on curved surfaces...
These grip pads are great as long as on a flat surface. If you need them on, for example, a handle, they apply perfectly, but unstick themselves after you walk away. When you come back, you press them to stick again. Eventually, they will not adhere any more. Too bad because otherwise they're perfect.A great thing about this product is that the pads can be easily cut to provide grip to all sorts of things: hand-held shower handle (see remarks above), slippery fingernail clippers (most excellent for this), the bottom of something you don't want scooting around on your desk, just about anything you can think of.

Perfect for DIY 2 inch Riser Desk Build
I'm in the process of building my own work from home desk and was worried about the 2in feet I selected to put on my cabinet scratching the underside of my tabletop. Also, I needed a way for my top to not move around, etc. I found these and they are a perfect fit to the feet I purchased. So I'll be installing the feet upside down, on-top of my cabinet, with my desk surface sitting on top of them. The feet are decent quality and grippy which is exactly what I was looking for. Good purchase for sure, especially because of the price point.

Great non-slip pads!
Exactly what I needed to replace the original foot pads on my cutting board! No more cutting board sliding on counter top.

Worthless, flimsy little pads...buy at your own risk...
As soon as these arrived...i immediately returned them as they ARE NOT as pictured. I would have rated a BIG FAT ZERO...if it were an option. This product as shown in the picture IS NOT CURRENTLY being marketed. This product (once upon a time) was a great product and the picture reflects the product before it was cut. Somewhere during early 2013 or late 2012...the manufacturer cut & down-graded the product to flimsy worthless little pads that is not worth the money. Before the product was cut...I made many purchases, found many uses for the product...it was undeniably a good product...but now, forget it! I have looked all over for the "uncut" product and stores where I formerly made purchases are also now carrying the cut product...and store clerks went to the extreme of matching up the code (4738495N) only to confirm this product is not as depicted and has been down-graded. Hope this helps!

I use these on my cutting board
These work better than regular screw types for a cutting board as the 1/8" and rubbery!

Great for protecting surfaces, not good as anti-slip as described
I bought this product to have the diaper changing surface better secured to the diaper changer furniture. The pads do not provide much anti-slip. They are intended for protection but not as real anti-slip.
