Update: I am very impressed that Lenrich has taken my review into consideration and has quickly responded. They have modified the design successfully. In addition to that they have provided me with a new keyboard case that had the design modifications and it works great! Thank you for responsiveness and your attention to customer satisfaction : Old review; I like many of the features of this keyboard case. I’m glad they have finally come out with an IPad Pro 11 version. However there is one very poor design aspect that is very obvious and should have been easily avoided. The hole for the charging is not big enough so it doesn’t allow for the IPad to be charged. I tried three different brand cords and none of them fit. A crude work around was put in worked by my husband because I’m leaving on a long trip in five hours and needed something. But it is a stupid design error.

I ordered one which was originally defective and this company has amazing customer service and they actually gave me a full refund and sent a replacement free of charge which was unbelievably cool.... that being said...Neither of two keyboards I received from this company could stay synced with my brand new 11” iPad Pro for more than two days. The keyboard would never stay synced to my device. I would use it for a couple hours with really nice ease of use and the backlit keyboard is amazing looking but looks don’t mean a thing if it doesn’t work. I had fully charge the keyboard each time I would resync the devices but that never seemed to make a difference. To get this thing to work I would have to forget the device and power off and on the iPad and resync the device.. complete pain in the ass and not worth the trouble. I have given the product one star for the good customer service and nice looking backlights.They have also asked me to delete my review. So take caution on this product.

UPDATE: After a year, the battery started to deteriorate and wouldn’t last for very long. I contact support and they sent me out a NEW keyboard (the updated model). I couldn’t be happier. They also fixed the charging hole to accomodate third party chargers which has been a life saver. This is STILL the best keyboard case you can get for the iPad at this price, and as you can see they stand behind their product.I’ve been using this case now for almost a year, and other than a really few minor downsides, this case really is amazing. It’s slim, protects the entire iPad, has lighted keys, battery life is great, easy to type on and it flips around so I can still use it as a tablet. It turned my iPad into a laptop. When I connect a mouse to it, it’s almost a total laptop replacement.The ONLY downside is that the DELETE and LOCK buttons are right in the same spot, so often I’m deleting things and I accidentally press the lock button. It’s a minor annoyance, but pales in comparison to how great this case is.

Super sturdy! Compact great.Update: I reached out to Lenrich to get a replacement since it has a lifetime warranty on Oct. 8th. I received a response requesting pictures of the damage. I emailed the pictures back immediately and it has been radio silent.... No one has followed up or shipped a replacement...That's why I'm changing my review to three stars.I do not frequently drop or take the ipad in and out of the case, I just noticed it started cracking with normal use and the two i/2 inch padding on the keyboard portion came off ad well so the case slams shut.Update 10/24/19:So customer service reached out to me and said they had requested more information to start the replacement process. Somehow I never received it the first time.I just received the replacement and it's perfect. I've added pics of the replacement product. It really is a great case! And I am grateful for the customer service team!

Alright, so I wanted to wait a little while to do this review so that I can make it as accurate as possible. The unit is solid. A item I believe any person that NEEDS a iPad should have. It allows many different things to take affect and helps with every day tasking. My likes are pretty much everything, dislikes are a few. For starters with dislikes the only one that really bugs me will have to be the unknowing of battery life. If they made it available to view like the AirPods or Apple Pencil with a on screen display in the battery status that would be great “I believe that is also more of apple than on Lenrich” but if Lenrich put a battery % on the actually keyboard then yeah perfect also I had to do a slight modification to the section the iPad sits in, with the standard charger that comes with the iPad the charger fit in perfect. With a after marked charger it will not as the coupling of the charger it self seems to be a littler larger, so I had to cut the section out and smooth it with sand paper but has no affect on the actual unit it self. As far as build quality I would say that the unit provides a strong plat form to allow the actual laptop experience. I’m using the 11 inch iPad Pro in my set up and I haven’t had any issues with the unit tipping or becoming discomfort as typing or it just being on me. The unit it self doesn’t get hot nor does it make any unwanted noise. The typing experience for me is pretty dead on as a traditional laptop. The key spacing take a little time to get adjusted to but after you are your solid. I enjoy having all the controls on the keyboard which requires less actually finger usage on the display. The back side of the unit which would be the section the iPad sits into doesn’t seem to like to be scratched, easy fix with some personal stickers or even a dope wrap. (Make it your own). Another major complaint for me is no storage for the Apple Pencil when not in use. Because I use the pencil a lot I tend to keep it on the IPad at all times and I’ve come to realize that its a high chance ill end up losing it. I love the versatility of the different positions you can put the unit into to fit whatever need you have for that moment. Every feature mentioned that it will do it does with no issues. All in all, a great unit and if I ever needed to I would buy another and definitely WOULD recommend this for anyone that has a iPad. *Also, if you are using the original charger for the iPad or one like it you can charge the keyboard from the IPad using the USB-C Cable on both ends, but it will not charge the IPad from the Lenrich Keyboard.* FYI I used the keyboard to write this review.

Sensitive of the keyboard keys, very frustrating, every second letter not recorded unless you press hard.Will not buy online again these sort of items, you have to see and try.Heavy. Feels cumbersome.
