Love this Scope!
After years of contemplating getting a spotting scope for birding I decided to take the plunge wihout investing a large sum of money. I am so happy I did. This scope is a great starter scope, and an exceptional value.Note that the plastic phone attachment for digiscoping is garbage and after a few very frustrating attempts to use it I purchased the well built metal "Tridapto 3-axis smartphone adaptor". It is pricy but well worth the additional cost.A few Android camera digiscoping tips (I have a Galaxy S23): Download an app called Camera Assistant so you can easily set the camera to 2x zoom. Learn how to use the Camera apps "Pro Mode" and set it the camera to manual focus otherwise the phone camera is trying to autofocus the image in the scope's eyepiece which it does not do well at times. For some shots, like a duck on water, learn how to use the Camera apps exposure control so the photos are not to bright or dark. Use the two second shutter delay in the camera app since the whole setup will vibrate when you press the phone to take a picture (you can use a wireless remote shutter instead). I switch the Camera app from 12M to 50M to have a little more leeway when cropping.

Don’t think just buy!
GREAT quality. Why spend $400 for a vortex spotting scope on sale when you can buy this? I added my phone and got even better zooms. (It came with a phone stand)Used this for moose and mtn goats and was durable, fit in its bag on our pack and light weight.

Perfect 100yard for target range!
The media could not be loaded. Even on the lowest power (20x) you can clearly and easily see .22 holes on a dead tree at 100yards. If one review had said that, I would have bought it a year ago. Instead I hemmed and hawed thinking I need to spend hundreds to get a spotting scope that would do that. So on prime day when it was 20% off, I figured, well heck, why not? If it sucks, I'll return it.At 40x I can see .177 pellet holes at 100 yards on plain old white paper. No more walking back and forth or having to buy shoot n c targets just to check my zero. The scope on my favorite airgun cost 4 times this and even at 25x you can't see your hits at 100 yards. This does it easily. Like others have said, image quality degrades after 40x, but if you want to see .22 holes at 100 clearly and easily, this will work. My 53year old, terrible vision eyes w astigmatism have no problem with this scope. The tree with holes is dead, so nothing was injured. The dove is at 20 yards, it was the only critter I seen out that day, except for my dog, she's at 50 yards. You can see things much further, very clearly, but when I tap "take picture" button on my phone, its blurry. So if you want to take long distance pics use something better than a 10yo cell phone on a shaky tripod. But as for the scope, it's better than I expected.

Good enough!
I purchased this scope for use as a target spotter for small-bore prone competition at 50 and 100 yards. It replaces an aging Nikon 15-45 x 50. The Nikon was fine at up to 30 power at 50 yards. Results at 100 yards was another story.Checking online reviews directed me to this scope. I wish I could justify spending the money on German optics, however the reviews of the Gosky where encouraging enough to give it a try.Amazon Prime got it to me same day, which was very nice.It comes with a usable case, phone adapter and small tripod. The phone adapter does not fit the scope, while the tripod is rather light weight for my use. The scope itself is nicely finished. The view is noticeably brighter, of course. The angled eye piece is a great improvement over the Nikon. Performance is about the same at 20 power as the Nikon is at 15. As one zooms up in power the Gosky inches ahead of the Nikon . Just inches however. At this price performance drops pretty fast as you go up in power. Outstanding performance at high power is what you get for your many thousands of dollars spent. At a match over the weekend I put the scope to the test. At 20 to 30 power I could easily see hits in the black, clear and sharp, at 100 yards. I think it could squeak by out to 200 yards. Good enough. All in all I call it a step forward. The brighter view, the angled eye piece and the improvement at 100 yards adds up to money well spent IMO.

Top notch! Excellent quality!!!
The media could not be loaded. This is a great quality scope set up. It comes with a really nice soft case that has some good padding in it and a Velcro divider to separate your scope and your tripod and the phone attachment. Everything seems like great quality and attaching the phone on and getting it set up was so simple and easy because it isn’t included in the instructions, but I was able to figure it out in about a minute, I think this thing is great and having two zooms one on your phone and one on the scope itself with the phone attachment makes awesome to get a little extra zoom and very good clarity in the video. I was looking at my birdfeeders in my backyard about 20 yards away and was able to focus really easy with the scope and then also when I put the attachment on , I wanted to include pics of the case because I didn’t see any reviews with it so I was kind of wondering when I bought it. I really like the case because I’ll be carrying this in my Northface hiking pack, which also offers protection and I don’t have to carry my expensive canon camera all the time because this lets me use my iPhone With zoom to do videos and pictures, which is amazing. I was kind of skeptical because of some bad reviews but I don’t know how they had issues. Mine arrived in wonderful, excellent condition no damage package really super well and it’s amazing. I wasn’t expecting this much quality for the money but it way exceeded my expectations
