I just received three of Monica Sweeney’s books, and am so excited, I put them down immediately to write this review – never done that before. These are a Christmas present for my 16 year old daughter who struggles with mood, self-esteem, confidence, positivity – the normal stuff – and I can’t WAIT to give them to her! (Not to imply these are exclusively for teenagers – I’d say they’re for ages 16-99, as long as excessive profanity isn’t an issue.)The positive and inspirational messages are spot on, and given in easy-to-read relatable chunks. Think “things your best friend should tell you, but maybe doesn’t” meets a page-a-day calendar, with a ton of humor thrown in.They’re not your typical dry self-help books – far from it. Yes, beware, they are laced with profanity, but that’s part of their charm, really, which I think will actually give the books more credibility where my daughter’s concerned, in a cool teenager sort of way.The books don’t ‘preach’, but rather, make you feel like someone is on your side, fighting along with you, and has your back at every turn, no matter what. I can easily see these books helping my daughter to become her own biggest cheerleader – an awesome gift to give anyone. So happy I found them! Now, I hope I can wait till Christmas!!

Cool little journal that's asks you great little questions to answer, gives you little tasks to do. It's fun to write in, easy to read, good quality book. Bought several books from this author and enjoy them all.There's some cussing in the book, but nothing major. I mean the title says it alllol. It doesn't bother me at in the least bit. However, it's kind of silly all these books now a days hopping on the "f$@&*" title bandwagon lol. I guess they think it's more honest and grabs people's attention. Either way, it's a fun little book to play around with.

Every women needs this book. Great place to vent and get it all out. Go for it, buy it.

I’m an 80 year old widow I lost my husband in 40 years a few months ago I am grieving and I was told this would be a great book to read to reflect and to heal. He was my hero and I loved him very much and to use that fabulous F word occasionally Doesn’t hurt. I’m sure God would understand.

Love the fact there's cussing and funny puns. Also let's you get things off your chest.
