Worked great for about 1.5 months. Really small and sits snugly in the DIN connector. Charges your phone quickly as well. Was great until it stopped working and I heard some rattling inside. Turns out a PFC coil snapped off from its connector and no longer charges. The connector is minuscule and looks like it would be prone to break in the future.The unit was never dropped and neither was the bike with it plugged in. Just be aware that there's a chance it can break.

Fits without blocking handle bars in normal usage -- though can be crush by a full-left rotation if not angled properly. Have used this for 28,000 miles in all weather. I always have a spare (in case of theft or breakage). Tried many others but this one is just right. Also useful on rear power ports, if needed.

Great product to charge any phone ! I am really happy to get this because I got others Dim brand charger that doesn’t work . This have a blue light ( intense ) that allow to know the phone is charge ! The delivery was so fast ! And the quality excellent !

This did NOT even last 8 months. Amazon will not replace and I can not get in contact with the manufacture. Product description says "3 year warrantee"

charge your stuff while riding your BMW motorcycle (do others have these type of plugs) this will absolutely get the job done & fast. I would rather install some USB panel mounts on my dash but, this bike is not long for the world at north of 100K miles. You really should super glue something to this device to secure it, so you don't lose it over a big bump, like I did...

I use this on a 2014 BMW GS Adventure.While I've only ridden with it twice, it seems to work well.It fits snugly and stays in place on the BMW accessory power port thingy.I have a RAM phone mount and use my IPhone 7+ while riding, running Waze, Sena and GoPro apps.This thing surprisingly keeps my phone charged to 100% the whole day of riding.I haven't banged around off-road with this installed yet but will try that soon.Would give it 5 stars but feel it needs a better method to secure it to the motorcycle.

Unit lays nicely along the bike and the plugs keep out water when not using a connection. Overall, I'm very pleased, but not sure what what they were asking for regarding Thickness, and warmth? It's a good thickness, not overly large, and feels solid and as for warmth, I haven't noticed it heating up.

Perfect fit for the powerlet plug. Kept my iPhone charged in Waze mode as well as my 2Ok powerbank topped off daily on a long road trip. Did not fail with exposed to long hours of rain.

charging USB items on BMW, Triumph and some other motor cycles can be a nuisance having to adapt from the standard cigarette type car socket to these better but rarer sockets. This little item solves the problem by connecting directly and securely to the bike socket and providing two USB outputs with LEDs conforming connection. On my BMW R1200 GSA the right angled output is a plus as well as the cable does does not stick out so much.A quality item from a quality provider.I find the reviews of others helpful in making buying decisions. this is the second optimate charging adapter I have bought for my Tiger 800 XC. I bought the 0-115 a few weeks ago and it worked so well I felt I could do with another charge point for my pillion to plug into.The units are both smaller than I initially anticipated. And that makes using them a no fuss affair. They sit out of the way and don’t interfere with any controls or movements. Each of the units has two USB charging slots so you can charge your phone and run a sat nav from a single unit or run heated clothing if the weather is cold.I like the compact design which keeps the unit well out of the way. Having the O-105 on the side of the bike means sits flat against the panel so it won’t stick out to foul the pillion’s leg and risk being broken. The O-115 sticks straight out so I use that at the front of the bike where it won’t get caught on anything.The quality is really good and each USB port has a silicone seal which will help keep the majority of water and dirt out but probably wouldn’t withstand a torrential downpour so use with common sense. The slots on the unit each have silicone plugs to keep weather and dirt out while not in use but to be honest I’d remove them in really heavy rain as the plug they sit it doesn’t have the best weather proofing.Very well worth the money if you have peripherals you need to run or charge while out and about on your pride and joy.

i bought one of these for a GS. Great for first few rides.Next time i tried to use it the device would pulse on and off. After that it was dead.Optimate UK refused to replace as I had not kept my receipt. I gave up.Then I changed bikes and decided to buy another. 3 rides in and this one has developed the same fault.Different bike, non canbus. Different phone. Same fault.Make your own mind up.

Works well for powering an action camera on my motorcycle. Optimate gear, made by Tecmate, is not cheap but is good quality and reliable. This unit has a quite high 3300mA output so it should charge just about anything, The two usb sockets are weatherproof, nothing like this will ever be actually waterproof, and this has worked well in all weathers on my motorcycle.

Space for this right angled device on the BMW R1200GS. Like the cutoff system. Optimate make good products so I would recommend the extra cost over brands you don't know.
