If you like decent bass sound, don't bother
First off, these are pretty small and are difficult to fit round your neck. Made of hard plastic which scratched my neck putting them on. Distance between the two narrowest parts that go round the neck is only 3 inches ( less than 8 cms). The bass response is almost non insistent. Very tinny sound and very low volume so quiet sounds are difficult to hear. In a noisy environment you would be struggling to hear your music. Tried them on my LG TV but the sound level is to low even with the volume on the TV full up. The distance before losing the sound is pretty poor. Leave one room and go to another and the sound is gone. In fact, each time I tried that, the device disconnected and I had to re-connect. I've got a pair of Sony over ear headphones and the volume on those is way to much on full plus no loss of signal. Obviously, given the price, I wouldn't attempt to compare these with JBL or Bose. The concept is good but, in practice, they don't move me at all. Was going to return them but decided to give them away, probably to a charity shop. Not sure why there are so many good reviews Although I did note that one reviewer had 41 reviews and all were five star. Go figure.Edit 1. Tried this with a Youtube surround sound video and its not bad. Speakers are quite close so the effect is limited but its possible they might be of use to gamers. If the maker could improve the bass response and volume level, this could be a fairly decent bit of kit.Edit.2 Discovered that the device volume can't be controlled by the TV volume control hence the low volume. Tried with a freesat box and the could control the speakers with the freesat control with a decent increase in sound level. Added another two stars to reflect this.

They work OK, but sound pretty thin and tinny
I saw the Bose equivalent, but before I went and spent two hundred quid I thought I'd try a low cost version to see if I get on OK with the form factor of this "neck speaker".OK, for thirty pounds these are decent, and are actually quite good for a conference call. they are a tight squeeze to get on, as several people have reported. I assume these were designed for Asian-sized necks that are far more petite than mine :-) But one they are on they fit comfortably - unless you want to lean back on pillows in bed, in which case you may have an issue. But I would not recommend the sound quality for either music or watching TV - there's just no base to them at all. To hear what they sound like, take a pair of conventional over-ear headphones and hold them away from you with the speakers pointing towards you. That tinny noise with no bass frequencies is how these sound.I do have to keep in mind that these are super cheap, so I think for casual tasks where you're not worried about sound quality they will be fine.In some ways they have now convinced me that I need to listen to the Bose equivalent before I part with my money. I assume the sound will be way better - but you'd expect that for 8X the price! Specifically the Bose unit would have to have figured out how to deliver some bass frequencies.

Sound quality lacking
If you want some 'around the neck' earphones/headphones just to do calls or listen to to some light music these will be fine. However, don't expect any bass or any quality of sound. In fact, the quality of sound reminds me of listening to muzak whilst on hold on the telephone. It is about the same. That said, they are great for voice. So if you want to watch a documentary you could use these. They are NOT for discrete use even though they are not very loud. Anyone nearby will be able to hear what you are listening too, be that a telephone conversation or music.I'm using a BT 4.0 dongle on my PC so the quality isn't a Bluetooth limitation at the PC end.The finish on them is great but they are a bit 'rattly'. (You shake them, you can hear things rattle).Would I buy them again? No. My money would be better spent elsewhere, but not on the Bose equivalent.Would I recommend them? No. There are better options I'm sure. Are they loud? Not really. The speakers sit just below your ears but you will still be wanting to turn the volume up way beyond what these are capable of (I assume for your ear protection, but it is too low). Will you regret paying £20 for these? Probably.

Ok but not awesome
So far, I have tried them and they work, although I have some comments to explain why I think they dont deserve 5 stars.I know I can't expect much for the price, but because of my first impression, I hope they last long enough. Also, reviews are always helpful.- When charging, I never saw the violet or blue light which is supposed to tell you it's fully charged. Just charged it for 3 hours as the product information says its enough and used it. So that feature doesn't work.- Made a call and I could hear the other person perfectly, but the other person hears "rain" and says it seems like if I was far away (I had it on my neck without any sounds around).- One of the symbols next to a button is scrached or not painted correctly. Doesn't look good. Also read comments on size and how easy it is to get it on... That's perfectly fine, and its very confortable when it's on

new favourite toy
I have tried a few Bluetooth headphones and speakers and have had issues either with things staying in my ear, the volume of them or comfort. These though I find loud enough even on the treadmill and not uncomfortable to wear. The plastic feels a tad brittle and a bit delicate hence not getting five stars but other that that I am pleased.Well that didn't last long, after only a month it now refuses to charge. I can use it while plugged in but not as I intended. Now a useless lump of plastic. The Amazon return window ended yesterday but I phoned the company, details are in the box that came with it and they sent a replacement item straight away, so far the new one is working fine. So I have restored the original marking. Lets hope this one keeps working because for what I want it for its perfect.
