I eagerly unboxed my lights, pulled out the template and got to work cutting out the holes in my bumper for the recessed lights. I located the template, traced it onto the bumper, and started cutting. Iwas very careful while cutting the openings and made sure I cut straight and to the exact dimensions of the provided template. I finished the openings by carefully die grinding and sanding the edges to perfection. Imagine my surprise when I grabbed the lights and tried to install them and found out the opening was way too small. I had to go back and cut at least another 1'4" all the way around before the lights would fit. So basically I did the cutting job twice adding a lot more time to the install. If you're going to provide a template for your product, make sure the damn thing is the right size! Thanks for wasting my time.Moral of the story - always check the template on cheap stuff from China.

I bought these lights to mount in an aftermarket bumper on my 98 Jeep Cherokee. The color matched my existing set of aftermarket LED headlights and look nice with the cube spotlights that I bought to accompany these. Giving 3 stars because the cutout template given with lights is not the right size, much too small. I worked through that trimming little by little until the lights dropped in, but it was a real pain in the rear. they have been installed for about 3 months and work well, but do fill with condensation after rain or temp swings. I'd look for ones with an IP waterproff rating.

It draw only 0,8amps on 13.8v. So this is a 11watts and not a 40w like they advise
