Left my car with a shop for near 9 months got my car back headlight out and couldn’t figure it out I thought it was the bulb but it wasn’t come to find out it’s the headlight module found this one got it for under 10 bucks and it fits and works as it should highly recommend !!!

I bought this for my z4 bmw 2005. Fit perfect . Light has been working fine for last 30-60 days . Hardest part was to remove the front bumper to get the ballast . Entire procedure took 2-3 hours that includes trouble shooting to determine if ballast was bad .

installed on vehicle and wouldn't turn hid light bulb on . ordered another from a different supplier "Headlight Experts" and got a visibly better part and it worked perfect . beware its a 50/50 gamble buying this module

Plug and play for E46 with Bixenons. I'd recommend swapping ballasts from working headlight to non-working to verify that it's the ballast that's causing you problems, and not a bulb or igniter (or module issue). If the light follows the known good ballast, get one of these for a fraction of the price.No idea on longevity yet, but install was easy, fit was perfect, and functionality was immediately restored.

Update: September 2020, been about 19 months and it’s still working as it should.I’m in Trinidad and had it shipped to a skybox. It arrived promptly but I was really busy and didn’t get around to picking it up until today. 🤦🏽‍♂️Anyways, I have a 2005 X5 E53 and living in the Caribbean island, we are right hand drive and the deiver’s side: front, right side, xenon low beam was not lighting at all. In order to replace the ballast/control module, the headlight assembly has to be removed and there were no tutorials online for removing the headlight for my model so I had to figure it out with some assistance from my mechanic buddy.To do this, the bumper has to be removed- there tutorials for that. Then the headlight was removed. You need to remove three torx screws on the underside of the assembly to swap out the defective part with the new one.The installation is finished and it works beautifully. 👍🏾 Today is the first day but I highly recommend it. At $44, you CANNOT GO WRONG. The genuine part will run you approximately $530 and you’ll save $75 over the Hella OEM version. AA Ignition is a reputable company and the warranty on this device is LIFETIME!! You cannot beat that!!If your vehicle uses this part, buy it!!!Today is February 2nd, 2019. Even though I’ll get a free replacement if anything goes wrong, I’ll update this post to inform you all how long it lasts.
