Can't wait to try these out. Always looking for some outdoor fun for family. Bought the whole package and some extra balls.

Very disappointed. I ordered extra ball at the same time as the game and these balls are not like what you get in the game. I felt tricked.

99% of the time I check reviews before ordering, but this time I didn't. Crud. I had just purchased Blongo's ladderball set which came with hard golf balls, knew immediately I should have ordered extras since set only came with 2 sets of balls. Oops. When saw these, saw that they're same company (not a knock-off), and look identical, so didn't blink, just bought. Only now did I read the 2010 review that advises (er, scolds...) to check the product code and description. Well, that would be great if the description actually SAID they were soft. It doesn't say it anywhere on the page, I just checked. Nor is the product number on there, as though I should know what it was if it did. In this case, it really does need to say it in the product description itself, not just in the paragraph below, though probably a good idea for it to say it in both places.Unfortunately looks like Amazon doesn't have very many colors available, so I just had to get a 2nd mortgage to buy two sets from Blongo directly for $35 including shipping, nearly as much as the entire set was in the first place. Aarrgghh.If you want soft, then these are perfect. Though not as heavy as the real golf balls that come with the set, these do feel weighty enough to work, and who knows, might even work well. I didn't try them out but am sure they'd probably work okay, I just think it's important to have the exact same weight and feel to all the ones you're throwing else you won't have a consistent throw.

this game is fun....it kept trying to tip over so we had to weigh it down a bit...so, a more stable base would be good.

Much softer than I was expecting from the originals we had in our ladder golf set. Great for smaller children. Unfortunately we left them out in the sun for a few days and the color is faded on one side, still works though.
