Simply connect a 12V solar panel & a 12V battery. The inverter has a PWM controller & it's powers output is 1000W AC 60Hz (American standard electricity). solar panel charges the battery & the inverter converts 12Vbattery power to 110/120VAC (modified sine WAVE). solar panel & battery not included.

My Review
I just bought this Solar Power Inverter to test that if I can gift this to poor people and students living in remote villages of India where there is no power supply or it goes most of the times or small kiosk on the road side.I used it for powering a few electrical items in my home and also tried separately an electrical 1KW room heater to test the full power and it worked great. The medium setting took to about 630Watts and maximum to 1000 Watts. It does as it is specified. The solar panel was charging a 12V battery and storing energy. I used the device to power my electrical items. It is perfect for daily use of a few lights, TV, fan, computer etc. During power failure, it becomes absolute necessity for our cells phones, internet, computer and lamps. Great product and I would highly recommend this product. Also, please not you need to buy battery for charging.

Unsafe! Not a 30 amp charge controller and glued together inside!!
I received the inverter from the seller (Ensurpa) in a timely manner. The first big disappointment with the unit was the cut-off voltage was @ 10.8v and the recovery voltage was @ 10.9v. So as you could imagine the unit powers down when it's at the cut off, the battery recovers from the disconnect, then the inverter detects its over 10.9v and reconnects and the ridiculous cycle repeats. This is a very poor design, nearly wiping out my computer as it power cycled wildly between the cut-off and reconnect voltages. They should be staggered more like 10.8v cut-off and 12v reconnect, as it is in most hybrid solar charger/inverters.But that wasn't the real problem. The real problem was the unit was sold w/ a 30 amp PWM charge controller built in...not true. I hooked up 30a of solar panels and the unit blew the fuse. I opened it up and was shocked by what I saw. The unit had a blown 25amp fuse and it was glued together on the inside. I doubt it could handle more than 20 amps. I never have seen such a hacked together product. This charge controller/inverter is nothing more than the 2 parts glued together in the case with not one shared circuit.Upon noticing this I contacted the seller Ensurpa and simply asked for a return/refund. I was told "We checked that it is 30amp (max) controller. For extra safety, 25amp fuse is there. It can take 30amp fuse." Yeah right, my butt! That is totally unsafe and no one in their right mind slaps in a higher rated fuse to fix the problem. Unreal they are trying to pull that! They offered me a "10% and keep the charger/inverter" bribe rather than the full refund I asked for. I ended up having to go to amazon to get my money back as the seller just gave me the run around over and over. Avoid this unsafe product & seller at all costs!!

Fit and finish is severely lacking
Looks cheaply made, can't image it would last but looks can be deceiving. Was expecting more

I have only been using this inverter for a few days and it seems to be doing fine. It is a bit loud with the fan but I can live with that. Right now I am working with two 100 watt light bulbs and will move to larger items next week.
