My grandson is a Marvel fanatic and this gave him lots of information about Marvel which amazed lots of his Marvel fan friends.

Another book about Marvel. Which aims to present facts about their characters, and give you quizzes on them as well.Although do be aware this is about their comics, and not their movies.it's aimed at younger readers, aged 7-9, and it's a slim volume at 127 pages.It's divided into three sections. One about the heroes. One about the villains. And one about the worlds of Marvel.Each section will have double spread pages giving you basic facts about the characters - or various items or settings in the case of the third section - and those are mixed with quiz pages as well. Said quizzes are multiple choice or true or false, so even if you've not read many of the comics, you might have a chance via the movies anyway. One question each quiz is labelled a genius question, and gives no options. It's just down to you to answer it.The quizzes are all there for fun. And the facts are quite interesting. It doesn't just cover the big characters, as those like the Runaways and Peter Porker and Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur and Squirrel Girl get a look in as well.There's lots of pictures to go with all of this, and those and the general colour scheme of the book do make it very bright and eye catching.A good little volume for those fans of 7-9 years. Or even older. And if you don't know the comics, it might just inspire you to get reading more as well. A good product.

I've been reading this book with my seven year-old son, who is a huge Marvel fan. He's at the lower end of the age-range in terms of suitability, but he has absolutely loved every page of this.The book is split into double-page spreads, dedicated to either a particular character or team, and varies between shorter 'fact pages' and full-on quiz sections. The questions are a great balance of difficulty, with some being quite challenging and others being easier to answer, so kids get a good sense of pride at their own knowledge while still learning new facts about their favourite characters.The pages are all high quality, glossy print - I expected the inner pages to be lower quality but every page is very high quality. The colours and bright and bold, and everything is laid out in an engaging manner for kids.I was also delighted to see that this isn't constrained to the MCU characters, as some Marvel books have been in recent years. The X-Men and Fantastic Four get their own sections, as well as loads of lesser-known characters/teams.It's a great book for Marvel fans of any age, but particularly for kids aged 7+.
