I purchased Haven Lock from the manufacture.The Bluetooth connection is buggy, unstable, and not consistent.So I purchased two remotes from amazon for each set of keys for two different vehicle.This set up worked fine for a while, and one day, key fob did not work no matter what while Bluetooth connection did not work either.After an hour of struggle with key fob and phone app, I called a friend to bring the extension ladder in order for me to climb up to the balcony, remove the screen, and crawl into the window, grab the another key fob from the separate key set, and unlock the Haven.After this I have one less fob, so I purchased another one and this time I leave the spare one in the car glove compartment.So when same thing happen, I will have a back up outside of my home.A few days ago, same thing happen again so I went back to my car and grab the second one to unlock it.I figure it would be probably the battery, so I open the case and replace with a new battery.The fob works intermittently, and after further investigation, I find out this fob has a significant design flaw.If you have changed any other key remote battery or anything that hold watch battery, you would notice that this Haven remote fob battery holder will fail.A Battery is inserted into a metal loop which is soldered to the circuit board.And the battery is exerting constant force on the soldered tab and I believe that given time this will fail eventually.You can open up any remote or watch which use this type of battery and compare with this Haven one yourself.You will notice the complete design failure which is not worth $39.95.Why this is critical?If my battery fail on my watch, this will not bother me since I can just decide not to wear it.If my car key does not work work, well I am going to be late for work that day.But Haven door lock is a product which designed to prevent someone from getting into your home.So please have a back up plan A, B, C,, and hope that this does not happen to you one day.

Definitely a very cheap remote... but it works. The buttons have very little feedback and if I carried this on my key ring, I could see it falling apart very easily. Good to keep near the actual haven lock as its much easier to unlock it than having to use the phone app (which frequently logs me out).

No point in buying a fob for a doesn't work. The company even charged me for shipping and a "restocking fee" despite their product not working. On top of it all, they were incredibly pushy and tried to guilt-trip me when I asked for a refund despite clearly stating I wanted to return and refund their product. Avoid this trash company at all costs!

Works ok... better than having to use the appKind oversized for just 2 buttons on my keychain but whatever

Hung ours near the door and use it regularly...very convenient.

I still don't know how to change the battery . I need help with that
