We used these on flights to Europe and back and they worked splendidly without the bulk of the over the ears types. When I wasn't watching a movie, I used them just to alleviate cabin noise.

Terrible Noise Cancelling
I was super disappointed with these, as I continue my quest for new active noise-cancelling headphones. Turning on the noise cancelling feature does absolutely nothing, the sound quality isn’t great, and they aren’t super comfortable. The packaging is great and I was super excited to open and try them, but sadly, the ear buds themselves are not the same quality as the packaging.Active noise cancelling ear buds seem to be a dying breed, with Bose and others having cancelled them. Is anyone still making good ones?

It's great
These are the only affordable wired ANC earbuds that I could find. I wanted wired because I don't want to deal with charging, but it seems you do still need to charge this if you want the ANC, while the basic function of the earbuds will still function without charging. I was disappointed about that, since the whole point of finding wired, was to not have to charge a device for the ANC function, but to have it just wired and not deal with charging. But on the upside, I do not have to worry about bluetooth pairing or bluetooth-related glitches that my PC often has, so there is that which is good.

The Active Noise Cancellation doesn't work
I loved the packaging and presentation of these earbuds which was very high quality, which is why I am disappointed to say that their primary feature - active noise cancellation (ANC) - simply does nothing. I own a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-ANC33iS QuietPoint Active Noise-Cancelling In-Ear Headphones (which died recently, hence the need for a replacement) as well as Bose QuietComfort QC20 ANC In-Ear Headphones, so I am familiar with how actual working ANC sounds and feels. With these Naztech X1 earbuds, there was no discernible noise reduction between ANC being activated or not, and there was none of the familiar "pressure" sensation one feels when switching it on either. I also did not find them comfortable even with the smallest tips, which I realize is very subjective, but for the price uncomfortable non-working earbuds weren't worth keeping so I returned them.

Doesn't work for everyone.
Liked the idea of having compact noise-cancelling ear buds to use for flying, but these weren't very comfortable even for the short period I tried them. They just didn't fit that well. My noise-cancelling headphones which are obviously much bulkier, work a lot better and are much more comfortable to wear for long trips.

Cheaply made product with lousy customer support from seller
The switch on the noise cancelling feature broke in less than two months of light use rendering product virtually worthless. Sent seller an email through Amazon, but seller never responded. Very disappointing due to the poor quality of the earbuds and the non-responsiveness of the seller.

Cheap, non existent ANC
They're cheaply made, and ANC doesn't even work.
