Defiants Huntin' Rig 4x4- Assorted Colors

Much like stompers of the 80's, however there is a difference. I have an original Stomper / Rough Rider from the 80's and when comparing the 2 I did notice that the Defiants are slightly bigger (longer, wider, taller and larger wheels but just slightly in each way). They are definitely faster than the 80's vehicles both in low and high speeds which could be the bigger wheels, but I have a feeling it is the 2 double A batteries combined with the gearing and wheels.Both of my sons had fun with this, though they are above the age range being 9 and 11, it still kept them entertained.It was nice to see my boys doing something inside during the rainy day other than just playing video games.

I cannot say enough good things about the Defiants racetrack sets and battery operated cars. All of the sets fit together nicely, so if you have several sets you can make a huge track. The cars are great, they look cool, they work great, they have a fast and slow setting, they can climb the hills and obstacles that my sons set up for them (they do suck up batteries (2 AAA batteries per vehicle), so you may want to look into rechargeable batteries). The best part about the defiants sets is that they are so sturdy, my three sons are very rough on their toys, and we have had a couple of these sets for over a year now without breaking or losing a piece. That in itself is amazing, because the macros & hotwheel sets tend to not last in this house for even a full month. I really like this brand, we have fun tearing down the tracks and making up new ways to put them together...this is our family time hahaha :)

Funny story. I bought these for Christmas a couple of years ago. I bought them way in advance and then forgot about them. The next year I though I would buy them again, thinking I had forgotten to buy them the previous year. Then I found the original set in the shed. I guess I'm getting old.I'm not too old to have fun with these trucks though. The whole family had a blast making obstacles and driving over them. If you remember Stompers then you will recognize these.

SUPER COOL. Like the Stompers we had as kids. Uses lots of batteries!

These little trucks are awesome!! I just wish amazon would let you pick the one you want, and also they remind me of the stompers back in the early 80s.

a gift

I bought two of these to play with my son and after one week they both stopped working. the ones i had as a kid lasted forever, wish i did a better job of holding on to them.I guess they really don't make things like they used to.

Doesn't got the tracks for the deviants.
