The writing is amateurish with so many sentences being repeated over & over again but this is the only book written for Michael Jackson which puts light on the truth & the only book that has real transcripts from the trial against him. Even his siblings & so called friends didn’t do justice when it came to writing about him. I admire this lady for being honest and write the truth about him. I wish she was his personal friend , we would have got to know so many interesting stories about him the way it was .

Detailed and Very Interesting Read
Not knowing much about the 2005 trial, this book was very enlightening in the way of facts, photos, trial information and significant events. The book contains several print and layout errors, focuses overwhelmingly on the Defence position for Michael Jackson, and the Author inserts her own opinions too often - however the information within is still very valuable and accurate in the way it quotes from Court transcripts and the Bashir documentary, and highlights inconsistent witness testimony. After reading this book, It would seem obvious that Michael Jackson won his case. Most of all this book left me wondering about integrity and if it still exists in the world today - from the duplicitous Martin Bashir documentary whose edited footage rendered it more sensational and damaging to Michael; the opportunistic Arvizo family who it was shown had a long history of deceit, lies and fraud; and a vulture-like Press which was concerned more with sales and titillation rather than truth - and amidst all of this no public accountability it seems for Bashir, the Press and the Arvizo's.

Exactly what I wanted
If you want to know what happened without reading the trial, this is the book to go (one of them). I read it along the trial transcripts and I could get a great picture of what transpired.

Aphrodite tells it like it was.
Where Michael Jackson is concerned, few people care about the truth. Aphrodite, one of the few journalists with any sense of ethics, went back through all the records after the trial and wrote what really happened in the courtroom, and why she came to believe Michael was innocent of everything he had been accused of. She sat through the trial and covered it like all the rest, with bias against Michael. But when it was all over, she realized that what was benig reported was not what happened in the courtroom, and realized she had to write the truth. Lest you think she's just after money, know that she had to self-publish the first edition of this book because no publisher would accept a positive book about Michael. This book is well worth buying and keeping on your home bookshelf. I'm really glad I have it.
