Although it was primarily designed with Ableton Live in mind, all of the controls are fully customizable and can be mapped to any parameters in Reason: https://support.novationmusic.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360001155365-Reason-10-MIDI-mapping-for-customizing-control . As the Launch Control XL is class-compliant and does not require a driver it will work with Mac operating systems and is supported on macOS 10.8 and above.
