Worked perfectly

Low pass means everything below the frequency listed passes thru and above it is blocked. (200hz low pass means all high freq are cut.)Somehow people seem to get this wrong.I had to feed the full signal RCA analog directly into my powered sub so I can have 2 subs connected to my 5.1 system. This little guy helped cut everything above 200hz perfectly. Welcome to boom town!

200 Hz LPF - Perfect

This was a great cure to excessive mid-bass! I bought 150 and 200 Hz LP filters and the 150 Hz version trimmed a bit too much out of the punchy range. The 200 Hz filter was perfect.

It just works!

Small and easy to fit - but get it the right way around! Small loss of volume below the pass band, but if you are bi-amping then just fit the matching high-pass pair.

Question-> Possibly ignorance and obvious but nevertheless.

Since I'm using my factory stereo which of course doesn't have a sub pre output. I'm having to rely upon my aftermarket amplifier to filter out unwanted mids and highs. Does a fairly decent job until a point in the volume causes amplifier to shut down. I found out if I turn the mid and treble all the way down I'm able to turn the volume up to max without failure. My question is if I purchased a pair of these 200hz in line filters would I then be able to adjust my mids and treble up to my desired level without my amplifier shutting down?
