Not used a tamper before, other than the basic plastic one that came with the coffee machine, but I can't imagine it being any better. Good weight and solid hard-wood handle. Looks classy too.

When I first came across this tamper I was hesitant with paying the price for it, but I decided to take the chance.I must admit that it was well worth the price the wood is high quality and with a good finish smooth all around, the weight of the tamper is removable allowing you to clean it well without damaging the finish on the wood when it comes to the weight of the tamper it's surprisingly heavy with the included tamper pad comes in handy. Would highly recommend.

Can’t say I have a lot of experience with tampers but I’m really happy with its quality, it’s sturdy and helps get a nice even tamp.

I love the weight and feel of the Tamper, certainly a lot better than any plastic one that comes with a new machine. My only complaint would be the finish on the wood. I could have just got a bad one but there are resin drips on it so it doesn’t feel as professional as it should do.

Great piece to make the best coffee. Well made will last the best of coffee making.

Expensive I know, just buy it. It will last you a lifetime and the amount of ease and precision it provides justifies the price-tag.

La calidad es muy buena. Lo he estado usando durante dos meses y lo recomiendo encarecidamente.El material es bueno, pero la chapa de madera se aplicó mal en algunas áreas. Nada demasiado problemático en mi opinión pero algo a tener en cuenta dado el precio.

Also habe ich diesen hier bestellt in der Hoffnung dass es das richtige Geschenk ist. Der Tamper kommt in einer tollen Verpackung und hat ein tolles Design. Der Echtholzgriff sieht nicht einfach nur gut aus, er liegt auch super in der Hand. Der Beschenkte war auch sofort begeistert und hat sich ans Werk gemacht. Was soll ich sagen, er ist mehr als begeistert, sowohl, Form, Aussehen und Funktion stimmen hier perfekt. Ein wirklich tolles Produkt zu einem sehr günstigen Preis.
