These mylar bags are very thin and a bit flimsy- they're thinner than any mylar or similar storage bag I've ever used, and I've used a lot. However, the pink flower pattern is pretty, the bag is airtight and easy to open/close, and it does sort of stand on its own.I store many different things in it, including herbs, homemade herbal teabags, various supplements and craft items like the mica powder packets you see in the photo. It's a good sized bag that holds more than you may expect. There's no strange smell, and the bags are clean, but often scratched up on the outside. So I'd probably give this product a 3.5 overall. Not the best quality product but not bad either.

These bags are so darn cute and really elevate whatever you put in them. I used them at Easter for pretzels, puppy chow, etc and they looked beautiful. I did not need to heat seal them, the closing feature works great. Will order again.
