A good emollient face moisturizer
This is an old fashioned beauty cream. Very emollient, excellent for dry skin. It stays on the skin and really softens. It doesn't evaporate within a couple of hours of application and leave your skin feeling dry again. It's a good value for the amount you get. No fancy ingredients, just old fashioned cosmetic grade mineral oil, petrolatum, lanolin, beeswax, and vitamin A. I have oily, acne prone skin and have never had a problem with break outs, clogged pores, irritation since I started using this cream. I love it around my eyes for dryness and crows feet. I would purchase it again. I received it faster than was stated from the seller. I am thorouly suffonsified.

good quality
I've used this product for about 30 years. Used to buy from Walgreens. Will continue using this product as long as it is available. I love it.

but this product is great. It says to stir because it could have ...
I'm not sure what the negative reviewers received, but this product is great. It says to stir because it could have heated and separated during shipping. Maybe they didn't follow directions? For those that say it's not sinking into skin or acts like Vaseline, I question whether they are using too much? It's not made to be used in a month... Try many months. I also think some might be confusing this with the basic moisture cream or comparing the wrong products. You don't need much at all unless you use on neck/hands as well. Seriously, dime size. I only use at night because I use an SPF base for daytime anyways. 1 beauty product isn't made for everything. But this has obvious effects on those who have used it nightly for years. I usually do a light scrub and often follow with mask or toner before using this bedtime moisturizer. Take the time to rub it in. It's much cheaper than alternatives. Give it a try, use it the correct way, and if it still doesn't please you, stop using it.

My Mom swears by it and now so do I!
I realize that this product may not be all organic, made from natural ingredients, etc. etc. etc. but my Mother who is now 75 used this for most of her adult life and people still think she and my sister (who is 53) are sisters. A lot of getting great skin is genetics but when you don't have that on your side this cream gives you a boost. It is super thick and rich and it's not great if you're thinking you're going to slather it on and put on make up right afterwards. It's heavy but I love that about this cream. Since I started using it again after many years of using other creams, my skin is less dry and "crepe-like" and I feel a bit more plumpness. It was always a drug store cream when it was more popular 20 or so years ago but it's much harder to find now. So glad I was able to locate it and purchase on Amazon!

Great product
I have tried many products to tackle my dry patches that developed while I was pregnant with my first child 4.5 yrs ago, nothing worked! They’d take away problem for a few hours (1-2) then the dry patch on my forehead would reappear. I had a patient recommend this product to me and for being 93, her skin looks great so I figured it was worth the try. Boy was it ever! My skin is so hydrated and although it feels kinda oily when you first put the cream on, once it settles, your skin is silky smooth. I don’t review often but I knew I had to with this.

BEST MOISTURIZER EVER
If your skin needs moisture, this is the BEST cream you’ll ever find AND it COST WAY LESS than department store creams that aren't as good. I have (honestly) been stoped by women while I'm out and asked what I use on my face. I am 75 and have used Satura all my life. so did my mother (yes, it's been around that long)Don't take my word for it, just try it!
