The media could not be loaded. The camera comprises a complex lens assembly mounted on a metal box (probably aluminium) with a flying lead that connects to a special USB-A cable three meters long.This camera is probably intended to be used by serious electronics hobbyists and in industrial applications; the camera should not be mistaken for a plug and play webcam that can be easily attached to a monitor or laptop.I intend using the camera with a Raspberry Pi for an upcoming project. That will be some time in the future so I tested it using my iPad Pro running the “CamX” app. I needed a USB-A to USB-C adapter to connect the supplied lead to the iPad and once this was in place the app recognised the camera immediately. The CamX app offers a lot of controls over the picture and the results with the ELP camera were excellent. The attached video, shot on a dull November day, gives you some idea of what it is capable of.The camera lens has three controls that affect its optical properties: zoom, aperture and focus. The names are self explanatory, but for those more familiar with SLRs and TV cameras this lens does not have “zoom tracking” where the focus setting adjusts as the lens is zoomed. On this camera each control needs setting independently and achieving perfect results will involve going round them in turn, as moving one disturbs the others. For example it is not possible to focus on an object and then zoom out without resetting the focus. The camera is designed to be set up on a shot and for the lens to be locked off with the screws on the adjustment rings.Attached to the cube-shaped housing is an adjustable steel bracket that swings through 90 degrees, again locked in position by a small screw - you need to supply your own cross head miniature screw driver to do this.A packet screws and wall plugs are supplied with the camera to enable a very permanent installation should you need it! Also in the packet is a very small allen key which fits a screw on the right side of the housing, probably enabling the lens to be twisted to correct any horizontal errors in the positioning of the mounting bracket - I didn’t loosen this screw to find out!On the top and bottom of the box are standard 1/4” tripod mounts for less permanent installations.I discovered the CamX app by looking up “Lightburn”, “UVC” etc. on the Internet and following endless links - I am going to have to search for more information about this camera before I can use it in my project. I think physical paperwork, or at least links to PDF’s that can be downloaded and printed, should be provided with a product costing as much as this. There is actually more information on Amazon’s listing than you get with the product, so it might be a good idea to get some screen-shots before it is taken down.The camera is not suitable for outdoor use or in areas with damp and dusty conditions without it first being built into a suitable enclosure to keep out the elements.The USB-A cable supplied with the camera is of obvious good quality, but it is heavy and stiff. It will not be easy to substitute a lighter and more flexible alternative because the cable connects to a flying lead on the camera using a special plug which I haven’t seen before. I can’t understand why a USB-C socket is not mounted on the camera.Even with all these interesting qualities I still think the camera is expensive. The cost after applying the discount is £129; I don’t think this is good value for money and I can’t wholeheartedly recommend it.

Ich war zuerst skeptisch, da ich von ELP noch nie etwas gehört hatte und der Preis doch schon etwas höher ist, auch wenn man es mit anderen Markenprodukten vergleicht.Die erste Überraschung dann beim Auspacken. Die Kamera ist wirklich extrem hochwertig verarbeitet und fühlt sich von der Haptik her extrem massiv an. Sie sieht auch eher aus wie eine professionelle Kamera um FIlme aufzunehmen, im Kleinformat und nicht wie eine gewöhnliche Webcam. Relativ simpel, ein USB-A Anschluss für Plug and play.Die nächste Überraschung kam dann nach dem Plug&Play und als ich das erste Mal das Bild gesehen und mit meiner eingebauten HP-Laptop-Kamera verglichen habe. Es gibt quasi kein Vergleich! Die Kamera ist extrem gut und wurde direkt von TEAMS erkannt und auch angesteuert. Das Bild ist bei meinen Teams online Meetings extrem scharf und viel besser als die eingebaute Kamera von meinem Laptop. Man muss die Kamera auf dem Sockel aufstellen. Man hätte die Möglichkeit sie an einer variablen Position zu befestigen, es gibt allerdings keine Möglichkeit sie beispielsweise auf einem Bildschirm anzubringen, wie bei anderen Webcams. Dafür ist das Gehäuse einfach zu hochwertig und stabil.Wo geht es noch besser? aus meinem Gesichtspunkt wäre es super, wenn man das Kamera Bild verdecken könnte mit einem Schieber, außerdem wäre ein Ein/Aus Schalter super. Auch frage ich mich nach der tatsächlichen Auflösung der Kamera.. 4K? 12MP oder doch 8MP? Auf der Linse stehen 8MP. Nichts desto trotz bin ich mit dem Bild extrem zufrieden.

Die Kamera ist schön Robust gebaut, lässt sich wunderbar montieren und hat eine tolle Bildqualität. Die drei manuellen Verstellungen sind angenehm schwergängig und bleiben in ihrer Position, sodass das Bild garantiert gut wird.Windows erkennt die Kamera auf Anhieb, nur die angegebenen Framerates sind nicht alle auswählbar. Hier hilft aber andere Software.Das hochgeladene Bild ist das Resultat einer 4K-Aufnahme. Wie man sieht, gibt es hier also nicht zu beanstanden, ich würde sie weiterempfehlen :)

Es ist für mich nicht das, was ich eigentlich wollte. Da ich viel virtuell arbeite bin ich immer auf der Suche nach der ultimativen Kamera. Die hier getestete ist absolut hochwertig in einem Metall-Case und mit einem sehr langen Kabel ausgestattet, aber sie arbeitet halt nur mit einem Laptop oder einem PC. Deshalb ist die wohl primär gedacht zu schauen, ob ich auf dem Golfplatz den Schläger richtig schwinge. Dass ist natürlich eine sehr eingeschränkte Verwendung. Ich habe relativ lange gebraucht, um ein scharfes Bild zu erzeugen, es ist mir nur mit einer Einstellung gelungen. Habe da zwei drei Regler, die ich gegeneinander laufen lassen kann, aber im Grunde sind die ziemlich nutzlos, jedenfalls bei meinem Test. Das Bild ist ziemlich gut, ich hatte bei diesem Preis allerdings einen Wow-Effekt erwartet, der nicht kam. Eine solide Kamera für Golfspieler, leider nichts für mich.

Ich will hier garnicht zuviel zu sagen, die Kamera spricht eigentlich für sich selbst, diese ist absolut hochwertig!Der größte Nachteil mag vielleicht der fakt sein das der Fokus nur manuell einzustellen ist, andererseits ist dies aber auch ein großer Vorteil, eben weil da NICHTS versucht nach zu regeln oder ähnliches.Die Bildqualität - wenn man alles richtig eingestellt hat - ist unglaublich gut.Das einzige das mich davon abhielt hier 5 Sterne zu geben ist tatsächlich die eher sparsame liste an zubehör das man dazu bekommt... und der Preis!150€ sind halt echt ne Hausnummer.

Es kann ein 15% Voucher verwendet werden, Preis somit 129,20 Euro.Diese Kamera kam gut verpackt mit Befestigungsmaterial bei mir an. Eine Betriebsanleitung ist nur in Englisch beiliegend.Sie kann sowohl an dem mitgelieferten Bügel befestigt werden als auch auf einem Kamerastativ, was Outdoor-Aufnahmen enorm erleichtert. Bei meinen Tests hatte ich gestochen scharfe Bilder bei Teleaufnahmen und auch bei Nahaufnahmen.Die Installation der Kamera ist sehr benutzerfreundlich gestaltet, man muß aber ein Grundwissen haben.Weitere Produktmerkmale sind bei Amazon sehr gut aufgelistet und brauchen hier nicht wiederholt zu werden.Alles in allem eine hochwertige Kamera, die für einen individuellen Einsatz bestens geeignet ist.
