I use this on my Sentro knitting machine and it works perfectly The counter on the Sentro is only useful if you knit tubes. Installation was simple and the directions were clear. A good value for money and a clear winner.

These little counters are absolutely essential if you are using a 40 pin or 22 pin machine without an onboard counter. When I got my 22, I immediately realized I needed a counter, as there was no way I wanted to have to keep track with my phone (or heaven forbid, my brain! 😬), so to Amazon I went! I found this counter, and was pleasantly surprised to find that I could get a 2 pack for fairly cheap. I already had a 40 pin machine on the way, as well, so I figured the extra $10 was worth it. When I got them, I was a bit bummed that the shape of the counter didn't seem to really work for the 22 pin, but as you can see in my photos, it can be stuck in the side, instead of the very top, and it still gets a perfectly accurate count!The only complaint I have at all, is that the little magnet in the part that actually sits on the pins is not stuck well, and BOTH of them came loose and fell out while I was putting them together. I fixed this quickly and easily with a drop of hot glue, however, and no other issues. (So just be ready with some glue!)

No more counting and recounting! This works amazingly well on my Sentro 32 pin. Easy to position, just make sure it's in the spot you want because it won't come back off easily. I'm sure you could reattach it with some other glue/tape if you decide it's not in the right spot.

This was easy to add to the knitting machine. And works well. The battery that was already in it didn't last long but they do supply an extra battery.Very easy to use

Unfortunately, when I started using my Sentro 48-needle knitting machine the counter on it never worked properly, and I would have to count the rows manually. I bought this hoping it would help, and it’s been the answer to my problem! It comes ready to install and even has extra stickies and a backup battery. I can actually enjoy knitting while listening to music or watching TV now! :)

I’m not sure if the other one is okay, but the first one is defective. I bought new batteries and tried them out, and still nothing. Be prepared, if it malfunctions, the seller will make you jump through hoops asking for videos and pictures of the product, only to tell you that there’s nothing that they can do. Just avoid them all together. DO NOT BUY!

This product works. Easy to assemble. Accurate. But it’s too pricey. 20$ is a lot for a little magnet. Wait until it’s on sale.
