works great but I burnt a hard drive since I accidentally hit the power cord backwards

I may have misunderstood but I expected to be able to extract everything from the hard drive. Computer won't recognize the drive.

It's was really a helpful product for me. I have an old IDE Hard disk with me. I had to transfer a lot of important data to my new PC. I didn't have any idea about IDE to USB transfer. I just googled it and found out these kind products. There were alot of products which costs more like Rs 3000,etc. But I don't want to invest that much bcz this is a single time use for me. So I chose this. I got this at a price of Rs 569 only. Delivery was good. This product worked well for me. I was worried about using the power cable arrived with it as a lots of reviews say that this cable burned their hard drives. But nothing happend. It performed well. I transferred nearly 100GB of data to my new laptop

1. Only ide to usb worked but overhearts HDD.2. IDE to sata didn't work at all.3. Whatever I bought from storite brand never worked as described.Returned and got refund.If they sell IDE to USB separately for around rs.100, then it's worth buying.

Sorry, very worst product. My SATA HDD was burnt the moment I connected it. Careful, don't buy this product! The return policy states that the buyer have to pack the item and return at buyer's expense! Apart from loosing precious data from my SATA HDD, this return policy puts me further trouble of spending time, effort and money!

Not all components were in-tact in the first shipment but the replacement had all the things in it. Cheap plastic but doesn’t matter as it works well.

best product for the price, really amazing for the amount. use i have recovered two hard disks of important data 1) IDE 2) Sata.Thank amazon, i have brought hundreds of product with amazon but never given review. but now after seeing the reviews of other products , i am giving my review on this.
