a nice device for back pain sufferers
I bought this because of very severe and accute neck pains and I was able to get it delivered faster that the PosturePump 1000. It is well built and provide relief although not as targeted on the neck as the PosturePump, but on a broader complete back traction. Slightly less practical to use as well, as you need a door to hang it from, but all in all, a nice device for back pain sufferers.

This is very good. I suffer from cervical radiculopathy (trapped nerve in neck and shoulder causing long-term aches and pains) and was recommended to regularly use a home traction device by my physiotherapist. This product does the job very well and, by using it regularly, I have reduced my symptoms to almost zero. Considering the debilitating effects of my ailment just four months ago, this is a major advance and one which I can put down to using this product regularly. The product is well-made and any safety-related anxieties I had about using such a strange looking device were allayed by being able to remove it quickly, even under tension, simply by loosening the velcro straps. There are, however, some shortcomings with the design of the product which could be rectified by the manufacturer:Firstly, the cord to adjust the tension and intensity of the traction is much too short. The user must sit on a stool to use the device and it does not allow its use while sitting on the floor. An extra metre of cord would be sufficient to rectify this and allow the user to increase tension while sitting on the floor.Secondly, for comfort's sake, the harness could be much improved by the addition of a little more padding where it is in contact with the chin and cheeks. Currently, it has a tendency to leave red marks on the user's face. These disappear in about fifteen minutes, but this effect could be easily eliminated with an improved design.Nevertheless, despite these shortcomings, I would thoroughly recommend this product to anyone who has been recommended the home-use of a neck traction device by a suitably qualified health professional.

treat yourself
Wow what can I say, well built product. The picture doesn't show a included metal bar/hanger which the harness attaches too, just above the head. I received this updated design, which improves comfort tremendously. I've used this device on a daily basis. It works really well by stretching the muscles and ligaments. You can even feel the joints "cracking". First week of use, neck and shoulder were a bit sore. But as my muscles gradually lengthened, it becomes easier and less painful. Posture has improved and haven't had reoccurring numbness in arms and fingers ... which I use to have on a regular basis. Note that it comes with a metal over door adaptor. Its one size fits all.... so I had to make a wooden wedge/shim as the bracket was too big for my door. The door I used is solid wood. So may not be suitable on modern doors that are hollow. I paid £50, which is easily 2x chiropractor sessions in this part of the world (Caerdydd). Note that I do a fair few miles on my road bicycle. This has help tremendously. It may seam expensive, but it works ... simple and effective.

Good piece of kit , well made , good guide, reasonable price .
Have now tried this out , I have a prolapsed disc in my neck causing severe pain down my arm. I did as the instructions said, 10 mins twice a day , have done this for two days now and there was definitely a relief for about 30 mins , then it all came back. I am going to continue until I see my neurosurgeon in a few weeks, hopefully it will help it resolve without going under the knife! It is easy to use, once you figure out how to put on the head straps, but I went very cautiously with the traction making sure it caused NO pain during use .

Broke my door on first use
Smashed through door on first use. Product does not disperse weight enough and it burst through our door on the first use.

Best one of these, yet could be better
I had one of these for a year before it tore while using it, so it could be made a little better. But by contrast, I've bought two other different ones of these after this one ripped, and they both ripped on first use. So this is the best one, but could still by made better.Side note, i hang mine from a chin up bar as opposed to a door frame, and it works out better.

It works - but..
It is a simple device, but there are some issues, that I didnt really read about much anywhere. So, Someone here did mention that it puts a lot of pressure on your jaw.. well actually they werent exaggerating like you might think.. I half expected it to tilt the head a little so your neck becomes like the stem of a wine glass in the middle, but no! it holds your head level, but in so doing all the weight puts pressure on your jaw. I was prepared for this.. I would suggest biting down on your teeth as you start just so that you dont try and grind your teeth! It is quite uncomfortable to be honest.. but, its only for a few minutes. But I did have issues.. So, Im 5 ft 7, Im not tall..so, I put it over my door, put it near the hinges to make sure that I didnt put overweight on the door and pull it off its hinges.but, standing up the highest i could get the head part was barly mid chest, so, clearly you dont use this standing. So, I got a low stool. Sat on it.. Nope.. my head was still too high. So, you either have to sit on the floor - in which case the head bit has to be lowered, but then you have to really reach up for the handle, or, you kneel.. and I find kneeling very uncomfortable.. but, this turned out to be the best way for me to use it.

Stabil, robust, wirkungsvoll
Hallo zusammen.
