I purchased this aftercare kit after being advised by the esthetician who placed my eyelash extensions that it was a great product and worth the cost. She explained that the lashes needed to be both brushed and "conditioned" daily to extend wear time. Boy, was she mistaken! I wear hair extensions, so I know how to treat extensions! You treat them tenderly. I was very gentle when wiping these oily pads over my lashes, and was just crushed to examine the pad after a wipe & find 5 loose lashes! I think the oil breaks the bond, because they didn't budge from the brushing, but one pass with the $35 makeup remover & they were falling out in abundance. I'm not going to chance using them again, and I may write to the company to request a refund. The mascara is "only for use when you are in need of a touch-up" which I was immediately after trying the pads! (Mind you I only had my lash extensions for 2 days, and only a half-set, so loosing 5 from each eye was devastating! A waste of the $80 extensions PLUS the $56 unnecessary kit) The mascara itself is nothing fancy. I tried it and was not impressed. I'm going to suggest to the esthetician that she stop urging people to buy this crap. Ugh. Such a disappointment.
