The first impression after handling the tawa- Too heavy. Then I felt the finish and preseasoning. Top class! Very beautifully preseasoned. I put some hot water on it, boiled it on the tawa- and rinsed it. No loose particles. Good. Handle is ergonomic and reduces the effort required for lifting and shifting.I then heated this tawa on medium heat and applied a drop of oil. Made dosa on it. The first dosa lifted easily like it was a non stick tawa. Then the second, the third ....every other dosa came off effortlessly. Don't wash or scrub with soap. Only hot water and wipe with a dry cloth. Then it works wonderfully. Good that you can use steel spatula without the fear of scratching the surface.Only following negative points:1. Very heavy.2. Handle is naked cast iron. Cannot touch it without a glove or a cloth wound around it. They could have at least given an insulating silicon sleeve or an insulation coating on it.Except for the above two shortcomings, this is an excellent product.

Likes- very healthy cooking on this tawa rather than non stick. Season with oil already once used for frying. Then start with dosa roti. Durablity is nice sturdy. Starting once heat tawa for 5min on medium flame. Then lower flame and start doing dosa result I have put photo. It retains warmth constantly.Dislike it's handle become hot. starters may find doing dosa on this little difficult than over nonstick. Need little practice.

I had a terrible time ordering this girdle. Ordered it for 3 times and all 3 times I received the product with a broken handle. Logistics was horrible. The pan is smooth as such. Durability is questionable.

Writing this review after using it for 3 weeks. My first cast iron utensil.. Very happy with product overall.. Feels solid, nice and sturdy. Initially I was a bit concerned over non stick property, but that concern is gone is after using it for Dosa, Cheela and similar stuffs. Make sure you use wooden spatulas to get better results. We are washing it mildly after each use, still no seasoning needed till now..

Good Quality !!! ...... Delivered ahead of time...the pan looks good... should last a lifetime with minimum, proper care. ....along with the health benefits. Replacing all the existing tawas, skillets & pans with cast iron.

Works like non stick pan... don’t forget to grease it before use.. have been using for past 3 days..made omelette, dosa and masala dosa... hotel grade results... good one👍🏻

While the product talks about induction compatibility, if you are using this with induction cooking ware, only the central part will get heated and you wont be able to cook any of the rotis, parathas or chapatis.

Very amazing product. Solid build. Wish the handle was wooden tho. Works better than nonstick if you ask me. Well pre-treated that no need to grease it before use. A blind folded buy..
