Good Longer Range Transmitter/Receiver
I have a 31 foot motorhome, and was looking for a good wireless transmitter/receiver for an additional camera to focus on my TOAD hitch, so I could confirm the hitch extends and latches, and the existing camera can focus on traffic behind. I researched this to death and basically there were short range T/R products and more expensive longer range T/R products but the longer range ones were only part of a camera/monitor set up, which was overkill for what I wanted. Then I saw this updated version of their shorter range T/R and decided to try it. At first the transmitter wouldn't turn on, but I had the power/ground wrong, my error. It transmits a clear signal from back to front (31ft). I have both the T and R on the same side of the RV. I haven't tested it while driving to see if it flickers, which appears to be a problem with these systems if both T and R aren't on the roof, but I don't need to look at my hitch while driving - just to check as I slowly move forward to engage hitch extension locks. It isn't waterproof, but I enclosed all but the antenna of the T in a waterproof box from the home improvement store.

OK, well.......
yI will start by saying I am more than a DIY guy... I ran a business installing car audio and electronics for many years, so it is not user error. Installed this on my 26' travel trailer, ran 30' video cable up to hitch, so it was only transmitting about 20' to my reciever. Worked great about 5 times I used it, then no signal. everything lit up, power at camera, still no signal.Bypassed it with another video cable (that made a 50' run of cable) Good, clear signal. Problem is in the unit itself.

It jumps the gap on my trailer
I put a backup camera on my work trailer. Wired the camera thru the 7 pin connector but this sends the signal for the picture. So I have it only 5' away from each other but it has to go thru/around my steel bumper and the aluminum skin of the trailer. Its not perfect but gets it done for as little as I actually need to use it. The picture is mostly good but once in a while it glitches out and then comes right back. Perhaps its the interference of metal surfaces as the backing angle changes?

Excellent customer service
*UpdateWas contacted by LeeKooLuu as my unit was defective. They issued a full refund, excellent customer service!Purchased this receiver/transmitter because of the 4 star rating, even though it was twice the cost as similar units. Installed in my travel trailer, with about 30 ft between the two units. The picture is fuzzy with colors coming in and out.

Clear winner!!
I installed this transmitter/receiver on my 33 ft motorhome (receiver under the dash near the Android panel and transmitter on the inside back wall of the coach in a cabinet by the bed). It works perfectly with my in dash double din panel and led lit backup camera. No communications issues at all. We even tested the transmitter from outside the coach in the back and the picture was interference free and crystal clear. Very happy with this product.

Might be good for some...
Seems to have situational interference that disrupts the signal. Not sure if it is situational WiFi networks or placement of antenna but thought my install was solid and I'm a car and tech guy. I can't recommend based on my experience.

Works - but be warned of distance and interference
I have a 37 ft Motor home. The transmitter is in the back, the receiver up front... about 36 feet apart. Worked great when the vehicle was stationary and engine was off. Going down the road on the highway was a different story. The receiver and transmitter hardly connected. I will move the transmitter closer toward the front of the vehicle, but not meeting the claimed distance was a disappointment.

Works for what I need
I used this to transmit a backup camera video feed from my horse trailer to the head unit in my truck. I was a little skeptical of range because I had to send the signal through a fiberglass wall, but it has plenty strength. I ran the transmitter behind the front wall of the trailer and the receiver is located behind the back seat. I read some units run hot so both units are on a switch so they are not running when the trailer is not in use. Overall I'm very pleased with this setup. It's only been a couple weeks so we shall see if I need to update this in the future.
