Perfect Fit
This was exactly what I needed. I was looking for a firmer cushion that was ergonomically designed to use as an every day seat, rather than something to use after an injury and this is exactly what I needed. It's firm and doesn't collapse while sitting on it, but it's not at all uncomfortable. The car-seat-fabric cover prevents it from slipping around when you put it down (though, I don't have any leather seats so I haven't tried it on that). It is a bit smaller than would probably fit most people (only about 11" wide), but I am an abnormally small person and it's perfect. The only problem I could foresee is that it's not very long, from front to back it only measures about 10". Even I require about a foot of depth when I sit, so you're going to have to make sure whatever seat you put it on is the right height so you can put your feet comfortably on the ground. But if you fit those dimensions, the seat is shaped exactly right for the proper alignment of hips and back. The cushion itself adds about three inches in height, so if you're short this might be a problem too. Other than those things it's like I said, perfect.'

I highly recommend this. I am 6'1"
This saved my butt during long flights. If you suffer from lower tail bone pains when you are in a sitting position for a prolonged period of time, I highly recommend this. I am 6'1", 180 pounds. The foam is very thick and firm, I find that the bottom of my thighs start to hurt at some point and have to shift due to the firmness and the way it is shaped around the thigh area. Although it does prevent my butt from hurting so I can live with it. The only reason i am giving this a lower star is because it does have it's Cons. It is way too large and takes up a large amount of space.

Helps
I spend 8 hours a day in front of a computer at work and the chairs they have aren't the most comfortable. Also, I started to get a pain in my right leg and after trying my friends cushion (the same one) I decided to buy one for myself. The pain in my leg has gone away and it makes the seat much more comfortable. I don't know if my [...] has gotten a curvy shape though ;-)

Too high, too hard , not for the underweight or fragile individual
This cushion at 3-1/2" front and sides with no forward slope,is downright painful. The contours are formed for a large person, and therefore, right off the bat, if you're under 120 pounds and don't have long legs --pass on it. For the smaller individual it actually raises the thighs and throws the spine down - exactly the opposite of what you want to do. This is especially relevant for the elderly and for individuals who are thin, where there's very little natural fat padding between the bones and the skin. The height makes it inappropriate to put on a car seat or a work chair or a dining chair. This one is a definite pass.

Only for small butts!!
This is a soft foam contoured seat cushion. However, it will only work on small butts. I am over 6'0" & 250 lbs. It didn't work for me. It was uncomfortable because my butt was too big. If you have a small butt, it would work great. I had to send mine back. I am still looking for one that is comfortable for all day use to fit my big butt.

Meets Highest Expectations / Doubts Unwarranted
Great meditation cushion. Exactly what I was looking for. Perfect. I has a similar cushion (maybe the same, they look minutely different) and I was in doubt whether this one was the same or not. It was.

I found it again
My last one was stolen, so I was thrilled to get another!!! The foam is firm and the notch makes it easy to carry. The best feature is the tractor seat wave which takes the pressure off my rear and allows me to sit longer.

Comfort Bottom Reformulator Cushion
What a difference this cushion has made on my back when I am sitting in my chair at night relaxing. I have trouble with sciatica and some evenings just sitting gets unbearable but since I bought this cushion I can now sit in comfort.

Good buy
The cushion is great, its quite thick and seems like it will hold up well in the long run. I only wish I had paid closer attention to the size, it's smallish and somewhat uncomfortable because it needs to be a tad wider so the edges run along the outer leg. It does help with tailbone relief but it's a trade off in comfort and can't be used for long periods. If they came in a wider version I would certainly purchase it.

I liked it so much I bought another for home
I ordered one of these, and experienced relief while sitting for long hours at my computer at work (nerve issue in hip + leg). I liked it so much I bought another for home. It definitely alleviates some of the pain and + strain I experience.

Not bad, but small!
As comfort levels go, it's good.. not perfect, but good. It's apparently designed for a youth however, as it's total area is not large. If i was slightly more generously proportioned, this wouldn't work at all.

You owe yourself this one
For my entire adult life, I have suffered from tailbone pressure, I saw commercials for the 'bamboo' cushion and checked Amazon. I have been pain-free from that pressure since the cushion arrived. If you suffer similar coccyx pain and pressure, I emphatically recommend this cushion. Your posterior will thank you for it. And if you know someone with similar pain and pressure, this is a great recommendation or a great gift for them.By the way, the cushion is firm foam and the soft material is zippered for removal and machine-washable.

soft cover, firm cushion
at first I had it backward, not good. When i sat on it properly I did fee it helped my back. I put a cushion behind me at first, not a good idea, back hurt more. I think i might still need a rolled towel in the small of my back, we will see
