i love my new axe. super cute and convenient - on the go, put it in my purse, when i order my coffee at the cafe i mine the table when i order and always get compliments.mainly stares but silent compliments. the strength of the pickaxe i say is an 8-10, classic hard styrofoam, sturdy. good for mining cobblestone and other relative materials, may take more hard force to get into those diamond blocks, but gets the job done. perfect pair with my creeper head. ive also noticed this purchase is best effective when making villager sounds just for an FYI before you make this investment.

Sturdy, nice quality
2nd one I have bought for my son. They aren't indestructible but still very sturdy. His first lasted at least a couple years and he's pretty rough on toys especially with teenage siblings. Great quality, much more affordable than official Minecraft gear and just as great quality.

Cute but doesn’t last long.
My son is 9 and LOVES the “pickaxe” and “swords” so I ordered him this... It is made of foam and ripped the same day he got it..... my guess is that this is more of a decoration than a toy... we have taped and glued my sons several times because he HAS to have it (he has special needs and gets fixated on one specific item) but I cannot see any value repurchasing it

Super gift, but not for the truly ruff and tuff. I mean this is good but when used like a real axe it will break. I found out the center is a good size dowl so depending on the child, judge accordingly.

Good quality, Great colors!
Still holding up after weeks of my 4yo son “mining” everything under the sun. I did have to explain to him not to smash it when he “mines”. If it is used too roughly it will break. However ours only has normal wear and tear from daily use.
