I Want to Trust You, but I Don't: Moving Forward When You’re Skeptical of Others, Afraid of What God Will Allow, and Doubtful of Your Own Discernment

This is an excellent book. After all a person has been through, this book is terrific for discussing who to trust and who not to trust. In some cases, it is wise not to trust a person; however, in other cases, you would want to build trust. In it are excellent tools for coping and getting through tough times.

This book dives deep into trust, fear, and faith. It’s comforting and insightful—especially helpful if you’re going through a tough season.

Item was in great condition, and it is a great study to go along with a great book.

A very readable book with good information. The is well made and the pages are nice thick paper and a good size.

If you are looking for Christian guidance and practical advice for the ugly parts of life that people don't really talk about, I highly recommend a good Lysa book 🥹 her books have found me following separation from my soon to be ex husband and have brought me great comfort that I'm not sure other Christian books could have. The way she presents concepts in a non judgy non pushy way makes it easy to soak up truth.

This was definitely different from what I thought it would be. It sounds cliche but it's not. I love how Lysa talks about trust from own experiences and breaks it down into different layers in each chapter. Even though she uses scriptures to talk about trust, she is still able to connect with you on a modern sense and it makes me reflects with my own experiences with trusting people. I love how she ends each chapter with a reflection and a short prayer.

Great book with tons of practical information, especially for anyone that has been through infidelity issues
