Cheap fabric and misleading branding
First, the color is misrepresented in the picture. In the picture, it is much more saturated and interesting than it is in person. Second, unlike the description "very thin and pleasant" the fabric is plain, thick and smooth - this is NOT the fabric appropriate to towels. I come from the culture where I grew up with linen sheets and towels and clothing. This type of fabric has been used to make flour sacks and items which were not used for clothing or personal care. Even dish towels would be made from different fabric which has better texture. I simply can't fathom how one would enjoy using this as a towel. So the claim in the product's description about it being the "Best Quality luxury Bath towel" is simply false. Perhaps, if you never saw different kinds of linen, you might for some reason think that (although if you have common sense, this towel would simply not feel like that). It seems to me that the makers of these towels are profiting from using the cheapest linen they can possibly buy, hemming it minimally and then branding the product as "luxury towels." It would be like sourcing the cheapest tea dust in the poor countries, putting them in cheapest paper bags and branding it as the artisanal one-of-a-kind choicest tea, while all along it takes like, well... dust. Which, by the way, does happen a lot as well. Disappointing. I would not recommend.

I Get Drier AND My Towels No Longer Stink!!!
***IMPORTANT*** Drying off with a linen towel is very different than a typical terrycloth towel. You will quickly realize that you have to use the entire surface of the towel. That said, after I figured them out, I love them and think dry me much better than terry cloth towels. The blue is great because it's easy to see which parts are dry and which parts you've saturated. They dry quickly and the most amazing part...they have yet to get the funky mildew wet towel funk!

Almost Perfect But Consider Pestamel Turkish Towels Instead!
Read lots of reviews on linen towels before choosing these for our tiny home. I knew exactly what to expect. Yes, toweling off with one feels like you’re using a dinner napkin. Just press yourself dry rather than dragging over your skin and you’ll get the hang of it. They dry quickly and remain fresh smelling a long, long time. A nice trade off when laundry is difficult. These fold very flat — hardly take any room at all.I thought these were going to be the perfect towel but now I’m not so sure. We’re by the beach so researched towels that don’t soak up sand. Discovered Pestamel turkish towels and I’m hooked! They are cotton but are more absorbent and dry quicker than these linen towels. Turkish towels are like drying off with a soft tablecloth which feels amazing after getting used to dinner napkins. Haha! Love the size and colors too. Wish I would have found Turkish towels first. : /

Not as expected
These towels were much thinner and less thirsty than I expected. I wasn't expecting an ultra plush towel, but these are almost as thin as the linen bed sheets I have. I have cotton Turkish towels that are thicker than these. They don't really feel like 100% linen to me, maybe a linen/cotton blend. The color is also different from what was pictured - more of a chambray color than the blue-green in the pic. That being said, they do dry quickly and would be nice for travel or the gym.

small, scratchy, and not the same color I ordered
This linen towel arrived and appears much smaller than listed, with the color being a rich peacock blue, not the teal I thought I was getting. It lacks absorbancy and is quite scratchy even after many washes. I regret buying this and have turned it into scrap fabric. It is slightly larger than a fat quarter. It can be used as a handtowel or a hair wrap but not really anything else.

Great travel towel - but don't expect something plush & soft!
So we got 2 towels - for 2 different family members to use. One of us LOVES the towel and the other one really dislikes it.They are super absorbent, and light-weight and pack down very small. They dry quickly. They make great travel towels but are also just great in general. They have a slightly rough surface which give them a mild exfoliant property. So one vote for this is a GREAT towel. Just don't expect it to be like your normal plush towel. If you want a plush towel, you will not like this towel. This is why we gave it 4 out of 5 stars - not everyone is going to like this towel despite it's great qualities!

Don't compare this to other linen towels. There are much better ones on amazon!
It works ok. I am not sure it is actually 100% linen though. I have quite a few other linen towels that are much nicer and absorb water much better than this one does.

Thin and cheap compared to other linen towels
I've bought other linen towels on Amazon that were built better. I understand linen towels are naturally thin as they have superior absorptive quality compared to cotton but this towel was exceptionally thin and cheap feeling.
