PilotParallel Calligraphy Fountain Pen with 2.4 mm Nib Refillable + Box with 12 Assorted Cartridges

I love the versatility of this pen and I hope to do lots of sketching with it. I wonder if you can get waterproof ink cartridges for it?

The pen was a gift for a friend who actually chose it, additional cartridges were missing but they were dispatch with a complimentary pack too. Thank you for the lovely gesture - makes shopping online a pleasure.

I already own the 6mm and 3.8mm pens and so thought that I would give the 2.4mm a try. As with the others you get a calligraphy guide, two ink cartridges, a cleaning pump thing and a thin plastic strip to clean between the parallel nib plates. I also went for the optional mix colour ink cartridges which are great. I'm new to calligraphy and mainly got these for sketching. However, this far I have found the larger nib pens easier to use for that, perhaps because the difference between thick and thin lines is more pronounced. It may be that I just have to get used to smaller writing because I am not using any line guides. It's good for sketching though and a lot of fun. It can be a bit scratchy on more textured paper but that's to be expected given the type of nib. I can recommend this pen but if you get only one to try then I would go for the 3.8mm first. I expect I will eventually try the other sizes too in time.

I had problems with loads of calligraphy pens with blobs and skipping. This pen just works beautifully and I can concentrate on the writing. Wish I’d bought it firstIt looks a bit ugly but my writing is so much better

Très bon stylo pour pratiquer la calligraphie. Je préfère un porte-plume avec une plume de marque brause. Cependant ce système permet de ne pas avoir à transporter de flacon d'encre avec soit et de recharger la plume. On peut également mixer les couleurs. Le résultat est tout à fait satisfaisant. Cet outil est aussi bien adapté aux professionnels qu'aux débutants.

Richiede un po' di pratica per ottenere gli effetti desiderati ma questo è normale.Consiglio l'uso di carta Rhodia.
