I'd normally gotten my tack cloths from a big box home improvement store. To my surprise the two large competitors no longer offered them! Fearing that for some reason they were no longer being made I ventured onto Amazon. Whew! They in fact were still being made. I found this large quantity set of cloths to be a great value. But, would they be as effective [i.e., sticky without leaving residue] as the ones I used to buy? My first use proved they were. My one complaint is that due to the packaging of the three in each pack, they need to be pulled apart from each other. I.e., all three sheets are together and then folded as one. My prior big box purchases were also three to a pack but were separately folded, easy to pull out just one. With these, you will need to carefully separate them or you may wind up having two or more being used instead of the desired single cloth. But, this is a small inconvenience for having the quantity at the great price of a very effective tack cloth.

We are repainting our cabinets - which were painted 10 years ago. This means the amount of sanding was much more intense than in many other cases. This also means a whole lot more to get off in order to have a nice finish. My husband wanted these, and they work wonders! We have a large kitchen, and the pack of 36 left us with just more than half left over - this is great for us as we have a couple of bathrooms to do next, and they are the same situation. All in all good product, great price. I am happy!

Work great

These towels are very tacky. To tacky for the job, I ordered them for. The adhesive gets all over your gloves and smears around on the surface you are wiping. I am sure for the right job like saw dust or something they would be fine. I wanted to use them as a prep wipe for material to be printed and they do not work for that.

I purchased these to wipe my kitchen cabinets down between sanding, steel wool and stain coats. They are quite handy. They do leave a weird residue on your hands. I recommend wearing gloves but they do their job well.

Love using them just before applying finish.

These were plenty sticky. This was a first time project for me. We had never stained / sanded a dresser before. These worked great! Maybe for professionals they aren’t good, but don’t overpay if you’re just doing a household project
