Make your life easier and have more time to reload.
Just received the product. Didn't like that they didn't put this in another box and just put a shipping label on it. This is with their new shipping company, not UPS or Fed Ex or US mail. Something call AMZL US. They leave your packages in plain sight for all to see, now with the original packaging it screams take me please. Now to the product. Packaging of the product in the box was good and didn't get damaged by just shipping it in the original box only.Pro's- dries fast and holds a lot of brass. NIce design for easy use. Doesn't take up to much bench space. Runs pretty quite. Sounds like my microwave is on.Con's- Temperatures that it runs at is higher than what the temperature dial is set at. About 10 degrees. Not to big of a deal, unit doesn't run hot enough to ruin the brass if you left it in there for several hours. Takes about temperature over 495 degree's before you change the metallurgy of the brass.Another con is there is no ON-OFF switch. More of a convience. Plugging it in and out of the outlet sucks.Would like to see a setting to turn off the heat and have the fan run to cool down the brass and finish air drying them.Otherwise will still use the dryer, makes life easier, quick setup, rotate the racks from top to bottom is easy. Will use it on a daily basis.Would definitely recommend this to everyone.5 stars for the product1 star for the shipping, but don't let that stop you.

Great Close Tolerance Scale
Other reviews have reported parts and pieces being tossed around or broken upon delivery, but that was NOT the case with my Frankford Arsenal Scale! Everything came as expected, and it was correctly calibrated from the factory. I recalibrated for good measure, which was a breeze with the instructions! The accessories that come with it are good quality as well, and very helpful. LCD screen is perfect brightness to see in most lighting situations. Measuring in oz, grain, and gram is a huge plus for the reloader out there looking for an affordable yet high quality scale! Definitely a 5 star scale, and worth the price!

Should have bought long ago!
I have been reloading ammo for 54 years with the same 505 (now RCBS) balance beam scale. It still works fine but I joined Hunter Benchrest competition at my club and am using up 243 ammo at a great rate. This scale is both a Duesy and a Jim Dandy. Has greatly speeded up reloading accurate ammo. I just weighed 500 308 military pull down bullets to assure there were no rotten apples in the bunch and found 8 rejects and the rest of the projectiles coming in within 1.9 grains of the 147 grain target weight. All this in one afternoon. With a mechanical scale this would have taken the rest of the winter.ZERO problems with fluctuating readings. I have been working at my very sturdy kitchen table because my basement reloading bench is in a cold part of the house. (Record-breaking single digit temps in St Louis). I tried running it on the provided batteries (was out of 3A heavy duty batts) and plugged in with a good quality short extension cord. Works great both ways. I weigh bullets directly on the grey plastic platform. Follow the instructions packed under the scale to set tare, select gr (grains) and calibrate using the two provided test weights. I recalibrate after each time I shut off the scale and it is fast and painless. Make sure you have a sturdy, level work surface that is not in the path of heat or a/c blast, ceiling fan prop wash, vibrations or electro-magnetic interference. Make sure the scale is not rocking on some table irregularity. Don't drop the scale. At 70 I provide a lot of Unsolicited Advice, so here it comes: Never reload when eating, drinking, smoking or putting anything in your mouth. Don't chew gum. Never reload when you are in a bad mood, angry or distracted. Don't listen the radio or anything else. Don't reload with a spouse or buddy present unless you are teaching, and stay focused. Feel each seated primer and look into each powder-charged case on an angle with a powerful flashlight. Choose loads that CANNOT be double charged. Never keep any powder can on your bench except the one you are using. Combat static electricity by touching a cold water pipe or other good ground whenever you think about it (really important in dry winter). Never vacuum spilled powder, broom it. It is better to throw away powder you may have accidentally mixed up than to take a chance on it. Never use opened "gift" or "heirloom" powder. Never use internet loads without written manual confirmation. Discard powder can be spread on your lawn so long as you are not hosting a smoking party. Well, that's a start. There are old reloaders and bold reloaders. There are no intact, living bold reloaders. This scale is good!

Great Brass Dryer
This is a very good brass dryer. I like the stackable shelves you can take them all out, but one and fill it and as you’re doing more brass during the day, just keep adding shelves to it. It drys well I keep mine set it about 140 the brass comes out dry after they’ve been washed. It’s absolutely does a great job. I should’ve bought one years ago instead of using a hairdryer way better.

Perfect Scale
I bought this to keep track of powder weights for my 9mm reloading as I develop loads with different powders and weights. It comes with a nice carrying case and is very easy to set up and use. To calibrate it, just hit the "CAL" button and put the 50 gram weight on when the screen is flashing "50" and then add the other 50 gram weight when the screen flashes "100" and you're ready to go in just 10-15 seconds. The screen is backlit and bright and easy to read. It comes on immediately and once something is placed on the scale, it gives you an accurate and stable readout in about 1-2 seconds. It's also very accurate because I used a scientific weight standard set that I have and it was right on to "0.0" accuracy. When I placed the 200 grain weight on the scale, it read exactly 200 grains and was stable in only 2 seconds; this was repeated for every weight I placed on it. There is a "O" on the bottom left of the display that shows the weight is stable and that the display value is ready. I placed this scale in my basement next to my progressive reloading machine and it is on a stable bench that is bolted to a concrete block wall and has no interference from blowing HVAC air. I am very pleased with this scale from every aspect of its features and that it's nice and small and doesn't take up much bench room. If you're reloading and need a dead-on accurate easy to use scale, this is the one.
