Well , let me just say that this is a very adorable toy and little creature . My son LOVES water play so I had to get him this toy for his birthday . He loves it . Here’s my complaint , if it is even a complaint . I just feel it’s part of the perks of being a parent . So from what I’ve read , the little creature lights up in the water . This little buddy which my son named Thor , only lights up when it’s OUTSIDE of the water . Of coarse he wanted to take Thor to bed with him , in our bedroom . Thor was lighting up all night into the wee hours of the early morning. . Strobing flashing high lights flickering over and over and over again . All.night.long. Thor is still lighting outside of the water till this day . Tore a pillowcase for Thor to have a baby blanket so I can cover him at bedtime .

My 5 year old niece was absolutely in love with her new axolotl pet. It works in the bathtub and the battery has been good for the past few months without issue. Great gift and fun for the kids who love axolotls!

This product is cute. It is kinda pricey, though, for what it does. It does float in glow. The button you push for the bubbles.I thought maybe it would make it swim more, but it does not. It is cute though.

Kid played with this once and was bored. It doesn't do anything really. You fill the buckets with water and drop the axolotl in and it lights up and just floats. You can pump bubbles into it but that doesn't do anything fun. Cant carry it around or play with the axolotl while in the tank without gettingw ater everywhere. Tank is hard to dry out after use.
