Incredibly helpful! Worth EVERY penny!
Data Structures & Algorithms Interview Questions You'll Most Likely Be Asked (Job Interview Questions Series Book 6) offers some real-life potential interview questions. When going into a job that needs skills like Data Structures and Algorithms, it is important to be able to show an interviewer that you know what you are talking about. This book provides a large quantity of practice questions that mimic some of the questions that you will probably be asked during the interview for jobs like this. I found going through the book to be a helpful experience that not only made me feel more prepared by the time I was done, but also gave me a clear idea of where my strengths lie and some of the sections that I feel I should continue to refresh and review so that I can continue to grow those sections. I appreciated that the answers to the questions in this book are long and detailed. What is nice about this is that it encourages you to speak freely and comfortably and know that providing the full answer is better than cutting yourself short. However, these example answers also show that you don’t ramble. You stay on topic, and be clear and concise. You are showing your knowledge and giving them a glimpse into who you are as an employee. There were definitely lots of questions covered in this book that I would not have thought of on my own, so I really appreciate having this book to refresh myself, practice with, and feel more confident when going into an interview. I personally found this book to be extremely useful so I would highly recommend it as a tool for preparing for an interview. It is a great value and is well worth it for the preparation it offers.

Poor editing, poor collection of concepts
I was hoping that this would be a good "refresher" book for some algorithms and data structures that I use regularly, but may not be able to articulate well in an interview. I was sorely disappointed. The Kindle version looks like it was slapped together quickly to seize the market. Chalked full of grammatical errors and the like, I honestly can't recommend this book in the slightest. I'll be paging through "Algorithms in a Nutshell" from O'Reilly instead, along with some of my old computer science texts to ensure that my skills are sharp for technical interviews. If you're looking for a good refresher book, save your money and look elsewhere.

Good book as a starter
Good book as a starter, Arrays, Stacks, Hash Data Structures, Huffman coding being the best amongst all the chapters. Don't go on the 1* ratings given in 2011, they are probably for the older edition. This one is pretty good!

Five Stars
Decent read before interview.

little use for real interview
This book is just a collection of some of programming concepts, things like "what is tree?", "what is double-linked list?", "what is array?" etc and provides answer to each question. It provides no real value for your interview, I think wiki is much better source for those concepts than this book. not recommend to buy this book for your interview

General information without practice or examples.
This book has a question and answer format, supposedly to prepare you for interviews. However, unfortunately, the answers (and questions) are extremely generic; I would expect them to be answerable on a first-year CS student's midterm. There are no practice problems. Don't waste your time with this book.

Theoritical very basic book.
What is array? What is linked list? .. Come-on these theoritical questions are not of any help in interview.

Excellent tool
This is another example of an excellent series of books. It contains the right information and it is organized in a manner that is easy to read. The HR questions are also excellent.
