I got this for my son who is 10 I didn't want to sink a lot of money in a rc car not knowing if he would enjoy playing with one or if he would demolish it the day he got it. I used to mess around with the gas versions of these cars and they are a lot of hassle this electric one if fun to play with and has been trouble free so far

Don't waste your money!!!!!
I bought this for my grandson this Christmas. He got a day of use and it stopped working! It is not a battery issue and it was not misused. He drove it around the basement floor, so no rough terrain, mud, water, etc. He is heartbroken since this was his one big gift! This is a very poor quality product for the price paid! I certainly expected it to last much longer than a day!

Fast, fragile, and frustrating.
It is fast. I'll give it that. But it is the cheapest plastic imaginable. A toy that goes 0-30 in 2 seconds should not have a frame that snaps on collision. After that happened, I was able to fix it with some wire, but now the motor will not accelerate or perform more than the most brief of stutter even with what I believe to be a fully charged battery.Do yourself a favor, buy something with a lower cost if you don't mind it breaking, or get something not made so cheaply which costs more. This device is not the one you want.

The car is very fast, however the quality of the frame is very cheap and flimsy plastic. The car quit running within the 1st week. Just running it in the house. Never made it outside.

Very fast little truck.
This is a fast little truck. I have 2 1:12 trucks also. This one out ran both of them. Very easy to use. I don't need to take off cover to charge or turn on. It took a little over an hour to charge the battery and around 10 minutes of play time. I'm going to order extra battery so I can play a little longer.
