10 x GU10 20 Watt Halogen Light Bulbs

Well you only get what you pay for - my electrician advised me to change my bulbs to lower wattage to save on electric bills - so I looked at B & Q 3 bulbs for £19.99!!! I bought my light fittings from B&Q a few years ago and bought the bulbs at the same time (which have lasted well) - so I have 16 bulbs to change - but only as they blow, also CAN NOT mix wattage in the same fitting. So have been changing round the bulbs after buying these 20 watt light bulbs - some of these 20 watt bulbs have not lasted very long. I bought 20 in January and 5 have already blown and a couple appear to have like shadows on them, so they are not as bright as the others. I have my property on the market for sale so they're ok - would I buy these for a new home? NO

These are now outmoded by GU 10 LEDs. However, the dimmers on my light rails give sufficient voltage to keep the other LEDs alight even when they should be off. Consequently, I have had to fit each rail with one of these innefficient bulbs to provide enough current drain to turn off the LEDs. The service from the vendor is excellent.

Good value for a bulk buy

Excellent lighting.

I am just using my 3rd one. They appear to last about 3 months in outdoor lights that are on during the hours of darkness. I think this is about average, and the price is much cheaper than you will find in a high street store.

Purchased these a few weeks ago.Fitted six, to replace the 50w in my living room which were far too bright!So far none have blown...Do the job for a lot less than B&Q/Homebase!

Arrived quick, perfect fit, replaced all of my 50watt ones with these. Already saving energy. 2 months on still going strong. Am considering another set. Dont know what else i can write here.

Well priced, easy to install and still working months on (as some similar models don't last so long).
