These work great! A few are a little harder to open than others but worth it and we are not using disposable bags.

Fairly durable, but will break down over time
We were already washing single-use ziploc bags because it felt too awful throwing them away. The upside to the Russbe bags is that they are much easier to wash since they are stiffer than a single-use plastic bag and open up wide at the bottom. They are also easy to pop open and leave upside down to dry. We use them for the same thing we use other bags for, so separating big packages of raw meat into smaller portions and freezing, and storing leftovers. Over time, (after about a year) the "zip" part will begin to come off of the bag, making them non-sealable and basically useless. Single-use plastic bags might actually last longer in that regard, but the Russbe bags are nice. They don't last forever, though.
